    Doesn't really matter if it's the same director. Both different movies. Maybe I was too harsh and thus I apologize. Just thought there were better choices (as you can see by the other suggestions) but as they say to each his own.

    Fast Times was about 7 years before me but I loved it. Clueless was my kid sister's age, so I think I watched it once. Not High School, but Swingers really hit the right chord for all of my crew back then.

    I'll throw in Last American Virgin. One of the hottest sex scenes, IMO, and the ending is just so damn good.

    If you haven't seen the movie, don't watch. You won't get it. But man. This movie is so bad and so great at the same time. Great 80's soundtrack, too.

    Following up on the Houston High school thread putting a shout out to "Rushmore". Wes Anderson is from Houston and St. John's is the setting for the private school Rushmore while Lamar is the setting for the public school the main character goes to when he get's expelled.
