https://tradenba.com/trades/GiweNLxt4 Oladipo to Raptors, Lowry to 76ers, Rockets pick up Tyrese Maxey, Matisse Thybulle and Danny Green who they'd waive. https://tradenba.com/trades/6T8cJ1vR6v Tucker to Heat, Leonard/2RP to Rockets 2022 season contracts: (+draft picks) Wall, Gordon, Tate, House, Wood Porter Jr., Martin Jr., Leonard Maxey, Thybulle, Kurucs,
I like your thinking but Leonard and a SRP is not enough. He’s out for the year. Okpala HAS to be in any Heat PJ deal.
I’m calling my shot. 5% Rockets land MPJ by 3/25 He’s the target. He is the only guy I can see Houston spending big on. 90% Tucker is traded 90% BMac is moved 70% Oladipo is traded 50% Eric is traded 50% House is traded 25% anyone not on that list is traded.
Yes they did they were one of the few teams linked to him. Westbrook is on Jordan Brand. I think we wanted too muchZ
Yes, they wanted someone to unload Batum on Then they went ahead a signed Gordon Hayward.....verbally
I think the starting lineup post trade deadline will be: Wall, KPJ, Tate, Wood, and Patton. Main subs will be Jones, Martin Jr., and players acquired at the deadline.
MPJ or maybe John Collins. NBA rumors keep mentioning the likelihood of trading Oladipo but "he might be a rental, he'll sign with Miami"; but would Miami make the salary cap contortions to sign him outright? Wouldn't he want to keep his Bird rights?
I like what you're thinking. Not sure 76ers will like us helping Raptors and Heat get better in that 2nd trade (elevating them to the Sixers level). They might not like us waiving Danny Green and him going to Clippers/Jazz/Nuggets.....and definitely not Nets/Bucks/Celtics/Raptors or Heat
Hoping trades of VO and Tucker bring back draft capital and a starting PF. Not looking for a allstar, just a contributor. Say a 10/6 guy that will play D. Been throwing out the names like Bradley (PHL) or R Williams (BOS). Hey D-rock can Bamba play PF? Use the off season to pursue guys like A Gordon or J Collins. Fully agree with Treyk3, gotta pay someone. Should be Brown and Nwaba. Need vets without egos to mentor KPJ and KMJ. They've proved their worth. Tate, Brown and Nwaba solid rotational players who play D.
Don't think pj tucker would be tipping the balance of power in these deals anyway but if philly caused a stir you could always include pj in Philly's te at the cost of their SRP (via NYK).
I just want to make sure after we make trades we have an open roster spot for mason jones and maybe Anthony lamb trade Vic for whatever (hopefully a first and young guy). Trade Tucker for a second or 2. Possibly trade b-Mac and house for whatever if it’s worth it to us...KEEP NWABA AND SIGN HIM LONG TERM...brown I can go either way on bring up kpj and kJ and sign mason and replace mason with lamb on a 2 way
No, but the other half of that is boasting Raptors up with Mike Scott and Oladipo. Do you take a chance of losing contributors in Thybulle and Maxey by possibly improving a playoff rival at the same time. They claim they love Thybulle defense. If I'm Houston and I'm the 2nd or 3rd seed,..,.....I'm not taking a chance of bringing my Western Conference rivals up. Lowry could be hobbled in the series like Westbrook last season and watch Oladipo go off. Being the difference. Sixers might do it, but I'm looking for only one to one team deals if I'm the Sixers. Plus Tilman hates Morey. LoL.
If the Rockets don’t use PJ, Olidipo, and McLemore to get a startling 4/5 who can start and be part of the future then I am going to be very frustrated. I don’t care if it takes the Detroit and Portland pick. They have to get AG or Collins.
