What would it take to pry away Terry Rozier?

Still young and perfect 3-D guard to pair with Porter and Wood.

What do people here think about Jalen Green in the G-League? He's not affiliated with a team yet, is only 19 yo, and is putting up good stats. I would think he'd make for a good SG prospect - Porter Jr. is being groomed for the PG role, Green might be a future SG (I haven't seen him play much, just a few highlights and seen the stats). Thoughts?

    Player.......................R Wire................AW................................................................................
PJ Tucker,.....................C+.......................C -.....................under paid about $2M each of last two yrs.......now overpaid $5M (20/21).
Tate...............................A.........................A.........................................has transitioned to NBA well......not at his ceiling.
Eric Gordon...................B.......................B / B+........pt for pt doing well. Imagine if Wall, CP3, Westbrook, Otto Porter, etc made point per million $.
Wall................................B........................B +...............................outside of CF's, Wall has impressed others. First Bill Simmons now others.
Nwaba...........................B +......................B.................................not as good from 3 from what I was expecting.
Sterling Brown...............A -.......................A -................came into season w/good 3P% from corners. Better above the break now. 42% (3P%)
Wood..............................B +......................A -......I expected A - material; has been A / A+ when on the court. Health will always be an issue w/him..
House............................C..........................D -...............…has played far worse than he should be. One of the biggest minus (+/-) each game.
Oladipo...........................C +......................C -.................................I've been very disappointed in his play; but has parts of March to be better.
McLemore......................D..........................B...................................same as last year and I had him as a B last season.

Should have made it a thread @D-rock

Can we just trade wall, oladipo, Gordon, and tucker for a bag of chips. I just want to see young guys on the floor. Its better than watching a bunch of hasbeens

Watched a few minutes of Green the other day. Very athletic and active. You can see potential. Probably not high on the Rockets needs list. Going into next season, we're probably stuck with Wall. So Green, if drafted would be behind Wall, Gordon, Porter, Brown (hopefully resigned) and Mason Jones. Mason is more NBA ready. Not forgetting Nwaba, want him resigned. Think of him as a small forward.

But looking over the G League stats there are a couple of bigs we should target. I keep beating the drum for Tucker to PHL for Tony Bradley, terrific on the boards. But if Morey is reluctant to give up Bradley, let's expand the deal. Tucker and House or Mclemore, hell they can have both, for Thybulle and Paul Reed. Reed is putting up good numbers in the G. 21/11 plus 2 steals a game. Small sample size but hitting 41% from 3. A 6'9" sniper.

The other guy is Moses Brown. Undrafted out of UCLA, signed by POR, released (?) signed by OKC. Putting up 20/14 plus 2blks a game. Raw, but 7'2" and great around the basket. No 3 shot, but we could live with that. Don't know if he fits into OKCs future plans he's on a 2 way. Roster desperately needs a big body backup center. If available, not sure what it would take to acquire him.

Would have to Draft him. If I'm the Rockets, If I can't draft Cunningham, I'd trade the pick
    for MPJ

Ohhh, that explains it. Was wondering why he wasn't already signed by a team, makes sense.

An undervalued player by us who really could get a decent return is Danuel House. Still young, but playoff experience, good size as a 3/stretch-4, decent defensively, good hops, etc. Players like that don't grow on trees, and I could see a team looking at him as our most attractive asset on the trade block.

There are much better trade ideas in this thread than the tired rehashed threads in Space City Scoop.

For the most part......that Detroit 1st rd pick is believed to end up being 2 second round picks eventually. Not sure they
carry much value (shown in trade #3).

    Rocket In:

    Avery Bradley
    KZ Opaka
    Duncan Robinson
    Harkless

    Heat in:
    Oladipo
    Tucker
    Nwaba
    Sterling Brown
    Eric Gordon
    D House
    Exum

Houston may not be able to have Dragic (1 more season of $18M) coexist with Wall.....but easier to move than Wall contract to 3rd team.
Each can have 24 mins a game next season as we rebuild and Dragic on expiring contract year.

Avery expiring next season of $5M. Both Dragic and Bradley putting up decent numbers now on limited minutes.

Rockets get Center of Meyers Leonard and Kz Opaka SF/PF.....each with one remaining season after this season.

Duncan Robinson might re-sign at seasons end if both parties mutually agree.

Miami gets to unload trash contracts or expiring of Haslem / Dragic / Avery Bradley / Harkless....
    clears roster spaces.

Get SF House for next season. Probably better than a first rd pick where they end up choosing.

Dipo (if he can get 22 points a game) next to Jimmy Butler and Herro and add Eric Gordon and you have more offensive punch.

BamBam is really the Center with Precious......losing the expiring contract of Olynyk (stretch 4) and Meyers Leonard won't hurt so bad.

Tucker gives them playoff experience. Nwaba and Sterling round off their rotation depth.

Some first and second round picks exchanged and or swapped.

    Rockets lineup next season:
PG) Wall.....................?Cade Cunningham? or Dragic / Mason Jones
SG) Kevin Porter........ ?Jalen Green? or Avery Bradley
    SF) Tate...................... ?Duncan Robinson?
    PF) Wood.................... Kz Opaka
    C) ? Olynyk?..or Meyers Leonard...... Patton

The manager sold the NBA top points, rebounds , assists, triple triple top stats players. Tilman better sell the team to rebuild again
