I always understood “hold me back” guys to mean guys who are always posturing and agitating, but unwilling to actually fight. Pretend tough guys. In any case, if we’re talking about real fighters, gotta give some mention to Trevor Ariza. Despite his quiet demeanor, he always seemed ready to throw down to defend a teammate. Remember the LA locker room incident? Chris Paul too. He’s the only Rocket I remember seeing actually land a punch to the face.

I’d put Barkley ahead of Artest. Artest didn’t really get into many scuffles with other players as a Rocket, from what I remember. Also, Chris Paul was more of a fighter than Russell Westbrook, I think. He had that thing with Rondo.
