The 'put the ball in the basket more than the other team crowd' is looking really good right now.

I mean we all physically watch games and we have seen in key playoff moments time and time again were Harden does his slow walk were defenses easily deny him the ball and his teammates are struggling to figure out what to do because they have no practice doing **** without Harden.

He wasn't the type of guy when things were going downhill who would sprint down the court to chase down block to rile up his team. He wasn't that guy. He often sulked in those situations.

Well now they have all the time in the world...and we are a bottom team in the league man. The only time offense was a real problem in the playoffs was when we had Westbrook on the team. Please name me anyone that could win with that dude as your second best player man? You saw what they(the Lakers) did, literally based their whole strategy around him. You can talk about Harden off ball....fine, but be honest....can you even imagine anyone else winning with Westbrook as their second best player?

Don't think CP3 is built for it and I don't think Wood is overall better than Capela, yet.

He has that kind of potential but I would like to see it in the playoffs.

To bad you have the most terrible basketball takes, nobody cares what you think.

And the fact that he has been out of the 2nd round once in his entire career should speak volumes.

And that includes him actually being with this team.

This team has a bunch of poor shooters and poor passers. I'm not sure it matters what "style" they play, I think the results would be the same.

All things being equal, rather than having Wall or Oladipo dominate the ball, it would be awesome to see Tate experiment with being a point forward for one game. Or let Sterling Brown take 20 shots one game and see what he's got. We are losing anyway, so might as well try to experiment with our young guys and see if they are capable of more than being just role players. What do we have to lose?

Thanks for the rebuttal. I'll consider your arguments.

So CP3 had no idea what to do?

Westbrook should have had plenty of ideas what to do since he turned the offense over to him the last half of the season.

You takes just get more ridiculous.

Well I would never make a claim that Westbrook is or was better than Harden. Remember, for all the criticism I give him, I always considered him a top 5 player currently and top 25 all time and I've repeatidly said this.

Why would Cp3 not be built for it? What has led you to believe this? Woods has better metrics than Capela this season for what its worth and Woods had great ones last year too. He's been great.

With Harden and Cp3 feeding him easy buckets, it would be easy bro, you gotta trust me here. We know what Harden,Cp,Cov and Tuck are about. Plus we would still have assets left to improve the team.

No, our most successful season was in 2018 WCF and CP3 was making the clutch buckets in the 4th especially in game 5.

Hence why that was our most successful season.

You don't remember the shimmy? Any Rocket fan should remember the shimmy.

This was always the concern with the MORE MOVEMENT CROWD

    Once the ball left Harden's Hand . . .. .
No One else seems to dribble well . .. seems to pass it well . .. or seemed to shoot it well.
House/Pj/Bmac/etc - Almost should not be allowed to dribble
Ego can bully dribble but does not pass well

The More the ball moves. . .the more opportunities for turnovers

Sure, we both know that. Now answer me this, do you see any of Harden's contemporaires (Giannis, KD, Curry, Kawhi, Lebron) winning with Westbrook as their second best player?

The more the ball moves, the less predictable we are in the playoffs and more importantly the more often defenses make mistakes. When you force defenses to chase players off ball and fight through screens, the more opportunities for defenses to miss assignments and be out of position.

I think in a solid offensive system, Curry might have led the team further in the playoffs in 2017 playoffs. KD has gone farther in the playoffs with just Westbrook as his running mate.

The f*cking irony of this is just too much. The kid that idolizes and patterns his entire game off Harden is now fchowd's savior.

You really can't make this sh*t up.

Him not being able to get out of the 2nd round and not being able to close a series up up 3-2 and 3-1?

Woods has better metrics in a very short sample size, Capela has dominated both Gobert and KAT for a series.

Why do I have to trust you?

I have been watching basketball for a long time I have been watching CP3 since he was in college.

We can disagree because it is an opinion but I got a lot of history to back me up.

Curry is playing with talent level comparable to what Harden has and is an 8th seed and many not even make the playoffs. He's been great but he cant carry a team offense like Harden. I dont even know if 2017 is true, if you switch Harden and Curry....than I think Harden and KD with Draymond and Klay can take our team(and likely would). You see how Joe Harris is eating right now.....now picture the second greatest shooter of all time getting looks from Harden. KD has gone farther with a PRIME Westbrook. After his MVP season Russ has not been the same player.

And he also played in the 2019 season and was crap, why should I ignore that?

Why don't you use the same metrics you crap on harden about with CP3?

    I will be waiting?
