Glen Robinson III and Shaq Harrison are available to be signed to 10 day.

    Here are today’s thoughts:

    Pistons
In Wall & FRP - Portland
    Out Blake Griffin
Wall is playable and FRP for the extra year.
(net even form Westbrook trade with 2 less years —> job well done)

    NYK
    In Oladipo
    Out Obi Toppin
Lottery forward last year —> hasn’t shown much yet —> Fills need if he can play

    Nuggets
In Tucker & (SRP, House, or McLemare)
Out JR Hampton & Zek Nnaji
Trade tomorrow’s help for help today.

we kick start the healing process with youth (3 6’9” bigs and a point guard to replace the outgoing Wall) and year less of super max contract. If Denver wants more maybe we squeeze NYK for a little more.

First time in a long time I'm excited about the trade deadline. Last night was sickening. Tucker, just bench him until a trade can be made. Appreciate his past contributions, but it's time. None of this nonsense, we have to showcase him, the league GMs and coaches know what his present value is.. His last 3 games, 0 points, folks that's ZERO. 17 rebounds total, not bad for a bench player, but his minutes in those last 3 games, 31, 23, 31. He was giving effort on defense last night but again, 31 minutes 0 points.

Love the idea of signing a couple of 10 day contracts. Bigs only, we are cluttered with guards until the trades fall into place. Keep Porter and Martin in the G, it's only another week or so. Patton is a headscratcher. Team must believe he has something. I know this pisses off some CFs, but I want to see what Kurucs can do with some minutes. I understand people being down on his offcourt mess. The team should cut him or play him.

Side note, Martin not in Vipers lineup this morning. Injury? Call up?

If they get this #4 Pick by miracle, They have to go ahead and release the rest of Harden roster by deadline or sooner. Cousins was just the Domino effect. If i was Stone you need picks, and to start grooming your young players for the future. The better the playing time they get now, the better the future will be. You could suggest trades but you wonder if the other team would consider.

    Pj Tucker Trade to Bucks
Rockets Receive Portis, and Wilson and 2nd rd pick. You need to find players like these who cant get playing time because of whos ahead of them. Bucks have been rumored and Covet Tucker this year for his Expertise at Defense.

    Victor Olidapo Trade to Knicks
Rockets receive Obi Toppin Frank Ntilikina, 2nd rd pick . More young players, knicks are giving up on tanking and want to compete for that 8th seed, and now with rose they have been rumored be keeping eye on Victor. They think Toppin is expendable now because of how there big men are playing. He is not getting any time to shine either. I would do this trade fast. It has been considered
    - https://tradenba.com/trades/PPKvpNUCg

    Eric Gordon Trade to Hornets
Rockets receive Expring contract to rid of one of Harden main sharp shooter. Hornets are trying to compete and get a 2nd round pick in exchange for expiring.

Danuel House , Ben Mclemore, and Exum to Memphis.
This is a chance of getting a player in Winslow, where he is coming back from injury, but gives Memphis 3 players who could potentially change there mind on keeping Winslow. I think he could fit in here as the next 2nd scorer for the future at 24 years old. Rockets get 2nd rd pick
    - https://tradenba.com/trades/8EeMuSxmC

Rockets get way younger and gain 4 2nd rd picks.

    C - Wood - (Draft)- Zeller(Expiring)
PF - Obi Toppin / (Draft) - Portis - Wilson
SF- Winslow - Tate(7th Man Role) - (Draft)
SG - (Draft) - Kevin Porter(6th man role)
    PG - Wall - (Draft) - Nikita(Expiring)

    Mason Jones, Martin Jr,

Anyways Realistic ways of actually getting rid of what mess you have now, and to where you can fit this #4 Draft pick fast. Just a few trades i feel rockets should look into as they all look legit. Id assume the rockets would either try to get a player in few years in free agency to replace Wall or Maybe this star player to move Winslow to bench.

    To Rockets:
    Myles Turner
    Marcus Morris
    Pat Beverley
    Ivaca Zubac
    TJ McConnell

    From Rockets:
    John Wall
    PJ Tucker
    Dante Exum
    #1 pick (to Pacers)

    To Pacers:
    Lou Williams
    Luke Kennard
    Terance Mann
    Dante Exum
    #1 Pick (from Rockets)

    From Pacers:
    Myles Turner
    TJ McConnell

    To Clippers:
    John Wall
    PJ Tucker

    From Clippers:
    Pat Beverley
    Marcus Morris
    Lou Williams
    Luke Kennard
    Terance Mann
    Ivaca Zuback

    Rockets after:
PG Beverley / McConnell / Porter
    SG Oladipo / Gordon
    SF Tate / House
    PF Wood / Morris
    C Turner / Zubac

    Why Rockets do it:
Rockets get a massive size upgrade. Turner is a stretch 5 who can defend the rim. Think Capela with 3pt shooting. They unload one big long term deal in Wall into smaller contracts that might be easier to move with picks attached to free up cap space. Beverley is a stop gap until Porter is ready and could possibly serve as a backup to Porter.

    Why Clippers do it:
They look to be settling in as a #3-4 seed which isn't good enough. Wall would be an excellent fit to feeding George and Kawhi on the wing and his dribble penetration should reduce the amount of driving put on those 2. Tucker plays the stretch 4 and defense to replace Morris. Might need to throw in an extra #1 to absorb Wall's deal...

    Why Pacers do it:
Turner and Sabonis both make a lot of money and they may not like the fit. Sabonis is better as a 5 since he can't stretch the floor as easily. Think Jokic... They take back Williams/Kennard on short deals to replace Lavert on a temporary basis. It's basically a salary dump of Turner for a pick. This puts them about 91 million in payroll for next year making them a player in free agency by unloading one more smaller contract. That could mean John Collins, Markkanen, or Duncan Robinson...

Le$$ love the Tucker & VO trades.
Portis is solid. Can't figure out why he's been on 3 different teams in 3 seasons since leaving the Bulls. Still only 26 and cheap. TBH, I'd just trade Tucker to the Bucks for Wilson and a 2nd. Tucker is a rental. If we have to expand the trade to get Portis, by all means.

VO to NYK makes the most sense. Knicks just took Toppin this past draft, at #8. Maybe they'd be more willing to trade Knox. He was solid his rookie year and has regressed since. Like Knox, a change of scenery for Frank N could do wonders. In his 4th year and only 22.

But if we could get Toppin, all the better. He'd look good next to Wood.

    Trade #1

    https://tradenba.com/trades/18Ko_3YJn

Rockets get MPJ, Nesmith and Gary Harris
Rockets send Eric to Boston, 3 FRP to Denver, House to Denver, and PJ Tucker to Denver

    Boston sends Nesmith to Houston
    Boston receives Eric Gordon

Denver sends Harris and MPJ to Houston
Denver receives PJ, House and 3 FRP.

I think this is 100% plausible. The Rockets get their potential star, a young flier and a bad contract while sending three rotational players and 3 protected FRP.

    Wall/KPJ
    Oladipo/Harris
    Tate /Nwaba/Nesmith
    MPJ/ Brown
    Wood

    Trade #2

Next trade would likely include Oladipo to Miami or the Knicks for whatever they would give up. Seems like Mitchell Robinson is more obtainable now due to his injury.

    Let's go with Knicks.

Rockets send Oladipo. With the extra roster spot the Rocket take on Mitch and Frank with Dallas' FRP.

    https://tradenba.com/trades/TzRM7SYWT

Next year once everyone is healthy you have a base of this with the FRP hopefully filling in at the 3 with Kuminga or Cunnigham or moving Wood to the 4 with Mobley.

    Wall/Frank
    KPJ/Harris
    Tate/ Nwaba / Nesmith
    MPJ / Brown
    Wood / Robinson

3 way deal for youth and picks: https://tradenba.com/trades/R7x9f_Z16

    Going into '21-'22

PG: John Wall - Nah'Shon Hyland (Portland Pick) - Davion Mitchell (Detroit SRP via NYK)
SG: Kevin Porter - Matisse Thybulle - Eric Gordon
SF: Jonathan Kuminga (Rox Pick) - Jae'Sean Tate - Kenyon Martin Jr.
PF: Kai Jones (Knicks pick) - Kevin Knox - Kuminga/Tate spot minutes
C: Wood - Jones - Moussa Cisse (Hou SRP)

Obviously a lot can change with draft picks and the Rockets are certain to bring in a free agent or 2 but that is not an unrealistic scenario for the Rockets moving forward. The Rockets would also have 3 additional first rounders to add to this core in the '22 draft and then in the '22-'23 season they could look to move Wall and Gordon's expiring deals or have room for a max free agent that offseason.

Might have worked if Tucker was playing well. Can’t see 76ers doing that deal. Would do the deal with Knicks if they would take it.

If Philly refuses to give up Thybulle for PJ then I would consider them throwing in the Knicks second rounder instead. While I prefer Thybulle as a guy you sic on opposing guards for 15 minutes a game I think you could find something similar, if not not quite as good, from someone like Scottie Lewis or Bennedict Mathurin.

Like it and think it is plausible. Just so none are our own picks the next 2 years.
