Dipos strength isn't his offense tho. That's just a massive bonus if he averages around 20 a game.

His defense is what will get him traded. Teams like Miami, Atlanta and Denver should all be fizzing for him (maybe not Denver so much as I think Harris is arguably a better defender but a MUCH worse offensive player).

Kemba is 30, may never be 100% and is on a horrible contract.

Orlando would be crazy to do this trade.

Wall is same age and is playing better than Kemba, that says a lot.

There are other ways to acquire AG/Bamba than via Tucker trade.

3 team trade with Oladipo going to Miami or Knicks.

Send Tucker to 76ers for Thybulle or to Nets, Dinwiddie to 3rd team for pick.

Again, and someone correct me, wouldn't improving Miami maybe harm the Rockets if we don't land our own pick this year?

Unless whatever trade reeeeeally strips us of talent so that we're almost assured of the Top 4.

Miami will more than likely be seeded higher than this Rockets team no matter who Rockets acquire at this late date.

Miami is not trading for Dipo.

They will pursue Beal. I said Dipo wants them....I didn't say the feeling is mutual.

Still a rental now, until it's not

    NYK: Oladipo, Kurucs, Gary Clark
ORL: RJ Barrett, Kevin Knox, Austin Rivers, Exum
    HOU: AG, Bamba, Ntilikina
*This trade detours Dipo from Heat, so 2021 draft swap not affected.

Rockets trading Dipo to NYK is likely scenario and they will give him the max. Looking at Dipo's stats with a sprained ankle on a shitty team with players out is not really a serious evaluation of his trade value. You have not been watching Kemba. His shooting is garbage and he is clearly not alright and is $35M over 3 yrs and the Celtics have been trying to trade him since the END OF LAST SEASON. This isn't me making this stuff up. It's EVERYBODY.

Rockets send: PJ, Eric, Oladipo and Detroit FRP.
Rockets receive: Tobias Harris, Tyler Herro and Mike Scott.

76ers send : Tobias Harris, Mike Scott and NYK 2nd rounder
76ers receive: PJ, Eric and Andre Iguoadala

Heat send : Herro and Iggy
Heat receive : Oladipo, Detroit FRP and Knicks SRP

Why the Rockets do it? They get a better fit in Tobias (on a terrible contract) and a long term fit in Herro.

Why does Miami do it? They get their guy for a playoff run. Herro hasn't had a ton of effect on the team during their wins this year. Butler doesn't have time to sit around. Iggy is for matching, Olynyk could be subbed.

Why does Philly do it? They need a secondary playmaker in the worst way. Eric fits that. PJ and Iggy can take turns to defend Durant and James. They get out of Tobias' contract while he's playing well. They do it without sending a pick but they take on Eric's less terrible contract.

I think Philly could say no. They are rolling and Harris has played incredible this year. That contract is still an albatross and they would probably get better by making this trade. It's a tough call.

    Wall/Porter
    Herro / Nwaba
    Tate/ Brown
    Harris/ House
    Wood

Does this not seem like a more balanced team?

I honestly believe that Porter will be better/is already better than Herro, in every way.

Better scorer, better 3 ball, better passer, better rebounder, already better defender.

You are missing the big picture.

Orlando would be gearing for next year. No one can tell me giving up Aaron Gordon and Bamba is for a push this year.
False. It’s for the future. Kemba cleans out his left knee in the offseason and he is good to go for the next 3 seasons. He needs Cole Edwards as they go similar to Lillard-McCullom of Portland.....dueling banjos plus Vucevic and Jonathan Issac comes back. Plus the others they have been grooming behind Aaron Gordon.

    Their core would be:
    Cole Edwards
    Kemba ...........Terrence Ross
    Jonathan Issac
    Chuma Okeke
    Vucevic

Boston does it because they have Tatum and Jaylen Brown playing like all stars.
You can’t waste this because your point guard is hobbled. Got to strike now if what you get back. Challenges Nets, Bucks, 76ers moving forward.....worth giving up some 1st’s and 2nd round picks because
Aaron Gordon, Fultz and Bamba are better than what they get from this years draft and probably future picks.

Boston would get a better skill point guard (passing wise) in Fultz. Currently Kemba is 21% ast% to Fultz 32% ast%.
    They would go:
    Fultz
    Marcus Smart (comes back)
    Jayson Tatum
Aaron Gordon (also play some 5....J Brown when AG at the 5)
    Theis......Bamba

Boston gives up 1st round picks since you are getting back former 1st (6th pick) Mo Bamba and former 1st rd (8th pick) Aaron Gordon and former 1st rd (1st pick) Fultz.

Kemba was 1st rounder (9th pick) that may not be well right now, but can get you an average of 25 pts next season and
    beyond.

Boston will have a team that can contend with Bucks, Nets, 76ers instantly.

Kemba's knees were a huge issue when he was with Hornets, that is only reason they chose not to extend him or re-sign him.

Knee issues are why Ainge tried to sell him in offseason, zero takers.

He's knees are getting worse, not better.

Indiana said they were willing to extend Oladipo. Dipo said no. So why would anyone give squat for what looks like
an injured Dipo that wants max money from only certain venues? A 2 month rental. Orlando doesn’t get in striking
distance of Nets, 76ers, Bucks by sending out Aaron Gordon, Bamba and bringing in Dipo and or Tucker.

How can you and I saw Aaron Gordon and Bamba are great, and in the next breathe say but we will reluctantly
give up borrowed rentals like Oladipo or Tucker or Nwaba or Ben McLemore. Or undrafted House or
undrafted Tate? Come on, you are kidding yourself.

We know AG and Bamba with his greater PER than Harden when we traded for him are good.....and believe me
the Magic know it too. Take more than our ham sandwich platter to obtain them. We will have to take back
that Aminu contract plus for sure. A lot more “plus”

Dipo's injuries are no where near as serious as Kemba's.

So if you believe Kemba is capable of healing and returning to pre injury form then Dipo should be able to do same and return to his 2 way All Star form, no?

Dipo is not only the better player when 100% but he is younger than Kemba as well.

And he can be signed to a less heinous contract if moved to team of choice like Heat.

Kemba's contract will be pure poison for years.

    We will see.

I once saw a team in the West trade Westbrook for a player who tore his achilles and didn’t play for two years.

    Stranger things have happened.
