    https://www.si.com/nfl/2021/02/25/jj-watt-free-agency-contract-offers

On Wednesday, veteran NFL reporter John Clayton told 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh that the Titans, Packers and Bills are the frontrunners to land Watt, adding there's an "outside chance at the Raiders."

Clayton later clarified in a tweet that while Tennessee, Green Bay and Buffalo are the three leading teams, Watt hasn't narrowed down his list. The Browns and Oakland are still in the mix to acquire the three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Multiple reports have said the Browns are interested in signing Watt, but according to ESPN, it's unknown if Cleveland has submitted an offer to the 31-year-old.

This whole time I've been thinking he was going to do a team friendly, incentive laden contract to get on a contender. I never thought he might get a multi year 15-16 million a year deal.

Just goes to show you what these NFL teams know: sack numbers aren't everything. JJ Watt was productive and disruptive all last year. He was constantly in the offensive backfield.

You also have to sort of think like this: He's made something like $90-100million in NFL money, not counting endorsements, acting, etc. If he could squeeze another $25-35 million in his last couple of years, that goes a LONG way in setting up his family forever. Think of it as "replacement value" of whatever you've spent over the last 8 years.

Does 100 million not set up your family forever?? Don't think he's the type of guy to need an addition X million dollars for that type of insurance.

If you can add a last couple of years 25-45% more wealth...its a big deal.

I’m not gonna lie. I will be disappointed with jj if he takes the highest offer and doesn’t actually ring chase.

Good to know Oakland is in the mix. I guess the A’s need an outfielder?

Green Bay is my sentimental choice, because going home can be a powerful inspiration and with Aaron leading the offense having JJ on the D will be a good story for the NFC. I don't want to see him or TEN of BUF.

If he's getting offers in that range, there was definitely a trade market for him. Now I'm even more disappointed we didn't try to work something that was mutually beneficial to both parties.

LOL @ JJ Watt the "ring chaser"

There are two types of professional athletes. Those that truly want to compete for championships and those that are okay being mentioned in 'best of' lists and are in it for the $$$$.

Get your bag JJ I aint mad at ya!
