No, he hit the median, crossed over and travelled a long way — 100 yds at least. In the helicopter view of OP feed, he was traveling down the screen ... crossing all lanes, leaving road on wrong side. Road was littered with debris.
Bet he was texting or watching Tic Toc videos or similar while going 80mph, but I'm equally sure he'll never cop to it. You generally don't just drive off the road in the morning in dry sunny weather if you are focused on driving. Outside of intoxication, maybe some sort of catastrophic equipment failure is the only other option, and I imagine half the time people just use that as an excuse. Best of luck to him.
