How much do you think he makes? I really don't think he's untradeable he has value to contenders. It's not like John Wall. John Wall is untradeable.
Yeah, I'm not 100% buying that. Harden was clearly involved as well. Anyway, that's fine The way you worded made it sound like the current Front Office (or Stone) is somehow responsible for the current situation when all he's really tried to do is make the most of the dumpster fire that he we was given from when Morey was on this team.
what is there to buy? Tillman said it himself in his own words... In every interview about the Westbrook trade Morey just says it's his biggest gamble or risk. Basically of nice way of him saying he didn't want to do it. Fast forward one year and he just quits the team for family reasons and a week later signs with Philly??? Obvious to anyone but you that he didn't want to make the deal. https://rocketswire.usatoday.com/20...tta-tells-final-hours-of-paul-westbrook-deal/
if you don't buy it, you clearly havent followed morey's tenure enough and understand what he emphasized and looked to build. westbrick is the epitome of the opposite of a morey player.
It was obvious from day 1 that it wasn't a morey move to anyone who followed the rockets and morey's career on a regular basis
This debacle started with morey tweeted against China and you know it. China lost face, and this is their payback. Wasn’t your fault Rockets fans. Blame Morey.
Daniel House is negative value? I don’t see that at $3 mil a year. I think mclemore and House would be somewhat valuable to contenders because they are both cheap and can shoot the 3.
This is definitely the Wood/Wall or Wall/Wood team at this point in the near future. Keep Jones/Martin/Tate/Porter/new guy Patton Everyone else you trade for pics or waive. Take fliers on DLeaguer's with upside. Also put a scrimmage together with Hakeem, JLucas, and Calvin to see if anyone still has the spark! Are Clyde and Matt still on the broadcast?
agreed. The one thing i disagree with clutch and Bima on is Morey’s lack of responsibility for our current situation, and especially on the Westbrook deal. Folks paper over Morey’s role. I mean he was the GM. Agreed it’s not a Morey type move, and maybe he pushed back, but he did end up pulling the trigger, watched the product fir a year, and then bailed. He deserves some blame, even if he wasn’t pushing the Westbrook trade.
lmao. tilman can literally say he was the one who pulled the trigger despite people like morey telling him not to. And then folks like you think morey is the one who pulled the trigger. Pure stupidity. Oh and then he left the first chance he got because it was that embarrassing to be associated with such a shitty owner. Then many others followed
Been reported many times from various insiders. Harden was told the deal wasnt' happening and he was okay with it. Tillman came in last second and offer the farm. While James wanted Westbrook he didn't make it an ultimatum.
