I think the thing missing . .. That this means they don't NEED all three to beat teams so being concerned they won't have enough time together maybe a moot point Kyrie or KD are better than Paul was that season Harris Uncle Jeff and TLC maybe better or as good as what else we had that 65 win season Rocket River
they have more than enough time. They're at their point of there careers where they understand the long run much better than the short term. The fact that they're already this good this quickly and not at full strength with so much room to get better, well good luck everyone else. It also, goes to show how damn good harden is and his impact on winning
The Nets do need to make some additions to their roster to give it balance. They really need some defensive help inside and rebounding.
Drummond, McGhee, Ariza, Snell, Hill, Ellington some names that come to mind for buyouts coming soon. Which is anyone's guess but I anticipate some combo of these guys heading their way.
Should I feel guilty that I'm actually more interested in the Nets season than the Rockets season at this point?
Honestly I have always thought you were neutral on Harden so Im kind of surprised to see you say this. But to answer your question, imo no. Because the team we have right now is essentially a placeholder team. The two guys who matter Tate and Woods are cool but one is inured and the other is a role player. Right now we are losing games(and thats a good thing imo) so why not be more interested in the second greatest Rockets ever go get his ring. Though...I guess given how I post, my answer was expected lol.
I really hope Ariza gets bought out and lands in Brooklyn . Plus I don’t want him in LA. Him & James are pretty tight so I can see him in Brooklyn.
harden gave his all to Houston's success during his tenure no shame in being interested how well/or not well he does
No. The NETS have 2 top 20 players in NBA history in their prime, and a third that will be a Hall of Famer. The Rockets are in the beginnings of a rebuild, there isn't even a exciting young player to build around. I enjoy watching the Rockets, but there is no doubt that the Nets are far more intersting.
They are the most interesting team in the league. Two MVP-level superstars and one star with all the talent in the world. All coached by a former MVP in his first major coaching job. And they are in Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Nets Owner Joseph C. Tsai is a smart person who would not let his team fail. Then you look at the rockets owner who is just a low IQ business owner like the Texan owner Carl. Why do you want to follow the rockets just because you are living in H town? I predicted that Harden would traded to the Nets, it just happened as I said. I know the rockets could keep him for longer or trade him to a bad team, but you just can not solve the problem of the team owned a low IQ business man. Do you expect the Texans owner Carl can lead his team to win big? Answer is no.
it really should be between Harden and Embiid right now with Lebron in 3rd Lakers have fallen off way too much without AD
