TBH, these garbage fans are to blame too.

People hated Harden for being a Rocket, and the fake Rockets fans jumped on that shitty train.

With Harden gone, those same fans seemed to have jumped off the Rockets train altogether.

    Silas is next Steve Kerr????

And Stone can go to Ruf-HELL if he doesnt make any MAJOR additions at trade deadline.

Maybe find another hobby= Better than Watching the Rockets. Who cares anymore. It was when Kevin Martin was dribbling the ball up the court.

He has to make some FUTURE Vision moves at the Deadline
    and
REALLY has to knock it out of the park in the draft

    We good with losing
    but
We have to be moving forward

    When we reach KINGS level . . . .

Stone can solidify my fandom of him if he makes the right moves at the deadline. And by right moves i mean, trading vets and expiring contracts for picks and young assets. I was a bit annoyed to find out that Nwaba is 28 and a free agent at the end of the season. Worth extending? or do folks see him as a trade candidate?

Yes, worth extending. Best defender on the team.

Nwaba is economical contract, young players still need vet role models who hustle, especially on defense.

It shouldn't matter because we're clearly tanking (Have you heard that term before???). The expectation is to get a top 4 pick in a draft that'll be very deep. Silas is a good coach doing the best job he can on the fly. If you thought we'd be a contender the 1st year of a rebuild then you're not very intelligent

We need to take Evan Mobley in the draft if we have a chance at him. I’ve watched the highlight reels of all top 10 pics and this kid stands out the most. 7 foot tall with a huge wing span. Reminds me a lot of Olajuwan as a young player at UH. He can already knock down perimeter shots and has enough agility and lateral quickness to get to the rack. Athletic too. If we can somehow nab him, that would give us a center to develop along side Wood. Perhaps we also pick up a PF too if we get another pic for Oladipo.

We have to start playing well so the value of Gordon, PJ, Dipo, Wall, etc... goes up. Right now the "tanking" is hamstringing Stone because those guys value is at an all time low. We need to go on a mini run, with those guys balling, change the perception, up their value. Then we tell Stone, "here, it's your turn."

Seems that was the strategy and it's failing right before the trade deadline.

I don't want to rush Wood back but we have no choice if we want any chance on that mini run.

You can’t take away your best player and main scorer and rebounder and expect to do well, it will be fine when Wood gets healthy.

Imagine getting four late first rounders and a crippled Dipo for arguably one of the greatest offensive players of all time in his prime? Arguably the best combo guard ever?

    Oh wait...

He already knocked it out with Christian Wood.

Dudes an all star level he got for a reasonable price.

As for draft he got Jae Sean Tate, Mason Jones and KPJ as prospects in his first year at the job.

Why is he expected to knock it out of the park at the draft? Who's the last superstar Morey drafted again? Last I remember Morey passed on Kawhi for baby Melo and a lot of posters here were ok with that so Stone shouldnt be expected to get a superstar in his first draft.

Rox prob wont even get a top pick so tamp down your expectations lol.
