Hard to give effort when you are playing for nothing except your own trade value.

Check out what Wall was doing while ball still live.

Did you see that Silas? And if you did, what did you do about it?

Silas needs to really lead then, set the example you want to see instead of whing about it after the fact.

If your starters are slacking, sit them for those who are giving their 1000%.

You might lose either way, but losing with fighters is the way I'd rather go.

    Play THIS guy more Silas.

Especially when he is in the zone.

20 point stinker after 4 days of practice, more than any other NBA team.

How does the team come out this unprepared from the very beginning of the game Coach?

Yet another reason Silas is in over his head, his team sucks most during winning time.

Guess who does best in winning time?

    Harden & Morey's new teams.

I’m enjoying Silas leading the tank. I hope he keeps up the bad work.

Stephen Silas better off staying in Dallas than coming to this poverty shithole franchise.

Good point rock. Yeah, i mean silas does like to whine like a little girl after the games , yet, your post had me thinking just now. Since Silas KNEW at the beginning of the game the heart and energy wasn't there , grow some BALLS and SIT your teachers pets (starters) and call a time out and bench all five starters. He won't.

To nice. I like his interviews but man he's just to much a players friendly coach to be mean enuff to bench his beloved favorites.

Just to loyal. Can't do that. I wish I could see sum "F U" fire from him sometimes to his players and refs..

Damn. Don't know if he can change . Most people don't change their spots.

I know the league is different now than before and players don't like to be disrepected, but this is costing games cuz our players just know in the back of their mind "well so what if I play with no fire, silas will still give me my 30mpg even when I score 0" ( looking at u Tucker)

God can't wait till Tucker and the other vets are gone.

    I'd be happy losing with

    Pg- kpj/brooks
    Sg- Jones/Thomas
    Sf- kmj
    Pf- tate
    C- wood/patton

Perfectly fine with losing with that team cuz it would be fun to watch them grow and get better instead of these has beens we are watching now

I actually think our tank and rebuild might already be done but our gm and coach (and probably owner) are to scared to play the youngsters..just dumb.

Hey tilman and stone you want to "win now" do yah? Well, how's that working out for yah? Lol

This is a tank. Sit back and let it play out. Hopefully it is only one season but it is what it is.

Is that not what he did playing Patton most of the first half leading to the brief comeback?

I’ll give him credit for playing Patton. The main problem I have had with recent games is that it feels like the Rockets (and John Wall & Eric Gordon in particular) have flat out abandoned passing the ball on offense. Continuous one on one is not good team ball. Win or lose, and we’re going to be losing a lot with the talent we have, you’d still like to see the sharing of the rock. Sadly, that falls on the coach as the players don’t respect his gameplan and he may not have the respect/persona to get them to change. He does seem like a really nice guy, so I hate writing this about him and hope things change as he coaches more games and learns some of the tricks of the trade.

Why would we only yank for one season? I don't want to give OKC picks. Let's make the Westbrook trade look not as lopsided. Tank til 2025!

    That is good tanking
Losing by 20 playing vets is bad tanking.

    Wall feels disrespected.

Both Stone and Silas should have kissed Harden's ass more.

Then he lost his nerve by sitting Patton AND Nwaba to start 2nd half and allowing that pathetic 1st unit to give up an insurmountable lead to Bulls.
