lol. But the culture. But the disrespect. Guys that want to be here are here. Ball movement. More players get to play. Thought those would translate to wins because after all its harden’s fault. At least that’s what cf’s said. Oh wait

Silas disputed Harden when he said the very same thing.

Dude is either not very self aware or he is duplicitous.

Especially when he was passive aggressively supporting Wall-Boogie anti-Harden movement behind the scenes.

Silas had to hold the company line.
    He cannot say I agree

Imagine being 31, nearing the end of your prime, and people trying to sell you that this is the roster, coaching staff, and ownership you can win a championship with.

Not sure if I'm willing to give Silas that much benefit of the doubt.

His relationship or lack thereof with Harden had my spidey sense tingling at the time.

And then he empowered Wall to take over the team while Harden was still here and encouraged Wall taking potshots at Harden in the lockerroom.

Then he took the ball out of Harden's hands.

    Company line or incompetence?

Franchise player Johnny ball hog wall who makes no one better and is a career loser. Most of the blame is on the owner

I did not know he encouraged Wall to take shots at Harden.
I definitely did not like him taking the ball out of Harden's hands.
I cannot see any logical reason for that.

    But
So many here felt that was the way to go

I worried every time the Ball left hardens hands
It meant it was in House, Tucker, or Bmacs hands
Wall and Wood were better than them but not better than Harden.

Wood showed he could play with Harden
    Wall and cousin had not
And everyone else were what we thought they were

No, his logic was harden wasn’t playing team ball but the irony is harden is running the greatest offense mankind has seen seamlessly while Johnny ball hog is the one not playing team ball and sinking it up.

I honestly thought maybe I was being a hater
Or biased but Wall feels like TMac
    Truly empty stats
    Not winning basketball

He dribbles as much as Harden ever did to me
And their is less chance of an assist coming out of it.

As much as McGrady is hated by CF, he is still the greater player AND better Rocket, compared to Wall.

Hell, even Pippen helped win more games than Wall.

It’s an insult to harden to ever compare the two. One is the best combo guard to ever play the other is a above average to good. Role player

Wall sincerely thinks he is elite.
He is not as bone headed as Westbrook
But all that does is make them equals

    But not winning basketball

We need to get past this over-analysis about what Harden said and where the Rockets team are currently. It is obvious Rockets are ridden with injuries and with multiple new players, chemistry will be out of sync. Besides it is also obvious that post Wood injury Rockets have decided to strategically tank altogether and look into the future. Not many here seemed to be so pessimistic when the Rockets had 6 game winning streak and it seemed Wood was back for good with Dipo planning a comeback and coach emphasizing defense. Now blaming the coach, Wall or anyone else at this stage is simply a knee-jerk reaction.

Wall, Wood and Dipo (if back to his old self) look solid on paper and we did get a glimpse of how effective they could have been if healthy. But obviously, injuries are taking their toll and it seems legit to tank and improve going forward. And give Wall a break, he's playing with only role players around him and still giving his normal stats 20 ppg and 7 apg.

I am just looking forward for the team to build around Wood and surround him with stars that complement his game. We can only look forward!

Now I know it’s a bad night when I’m watching Lakers and Wizards, rooting for the Wiz so Brad Beal doesn’t demand a trade so it’ll drive up Oladipo and Gordon’s trade value and Westbrook out here somehow looking light years better than Wall tonight.

That’s 6 game winning streak was a huge gimmick filled with bad teams coupled with best players who were out due to Covid protocols or rest. Context matters. Folks who thought that was a legit streak are the same ones that foolishly believe this is a playoff team. it isn’t. They used that to make themselves feel better despite what reality is and how the rockets won’t be good for years
