The US is the most litigious country on the planet.... Diversity and workplace environment classes lowers premiums.... Warning and labels prevent lawsuits.

Wake up sheep, this is about litigation.

It says the show "includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures," adding that "these stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now."

An episode hosted by Johnny Cash in which the country star performs in front of the US flag and the Confederate battle flag was among the installments flagged by the service.

Another features folk star Joan Baez doing an Indian accent, while the opening to an episode with Kenny Rogers shows Muppets dressed in Arab garb drilling for oil.

The warning says that rather than removing the episodes, Disney wants to "acknowledge (their) harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future."

They need to find these people who get offended by the Muppets

and send them back in time to the Medieval age,
if they hate Kermit the frog, then they should swim with the frogs

Warning labels are better than altogether removing the episodes (censorship)...

Looking at you HBO with South Park.
    Spotify with certain JRE episodes.

there shouldn't be censorship of stuff that was not censored and on TV every day.
This isn't Sharon Stone spreading her legs, this is the muppets, it's a kids show

The russians are laughing their asses off, this is why that russian UFC guy never lost, he won't getting beaten by some dude who is offended by the Muppets

Seems like a fine approach to me. Acknowledgement, without censorship. I watched the Steve Martin episode this weekend. Gonzo was pretending to be Mexican, "burrito, burrito, taco, San Diego". And yall thought South Park was groundbreaking.

Elton John was up in there too. He gay af, fam.

    Nah.

Millennials are extremely soft. Certainly softer than Gen X or Boomers.

I am not saying Millennials are bad, in general terms they are better than Gen X or Boomers in a lot of ways.

I think that Millennials are kinder and more empathetic than Gen X or Boomers on some issues.

Millennials are more tech savvy and in some ways handle personal responsibility better than other generations.

The toughest recent generation that I have been exposed to was the Lost Generation. I was a very young boy, but I was exposed to some of these people and they DNGAF.... they grew up and fought in WWI, they raised family in the Great Depression and they lived through the fall of monarchies. They were anti establishment and did what they wanted largely.

I noticed that Disney added that disclaimer at the beginning of the animated Aladdin when I put it on for my kid.

I found it to be educational and something good for kids to read about when they watch older content so they can understand where we’ve changed as a society.

I found it appropriate and it didn’t come off as libtard outrage. If your a right winger who gets outraged over this I think your the oversensitive snowflake who is triggered by damn near anything. Get a life people.
