I was never a Moon Knight fan, but did they change his outfit in recent years? He used to have that white outfit with "no" face and a hood. That pic looks like an alcoholic astronaut with a cape. Part of what made him stand out to me in comics was the white outfit (well, back in the day, anyway).
I don't love that fan mockup in my previous post. MK was sort of the Marvel play on Batman and making him black really takes away a lot of his uniqueness. I think they may have made his unitard black but his cape and hood are still white. https://www.cbr.com/moon-knight-best-worst-costumes/
I thought he was Jewish. I am on the fence about these types of things, I think I end up saying as long as they are true to character I don't care what color they are but aIso realize how important it is to fans who identify with the ethnicity of the character. I think at the end of the day the art suffers if you can't cast a wide net.
Never caught onto this comic back in the day when I was an avid reader and collector but the cast here is rounding out nicely. I really enjoyed Ethan Hawke in Gattica and Training Day.
as far as i'm concerned, mk is still mortal kombat. moon knight has a long ways to go to be referred to as mk.
Such a good show. I hope they keep Daredevil and Punisher as the same actors (Charlie Cox & Jon Bernthal)... if/when they make their reappearances within the MCU or MTU.
Strong rumor is that Cox is Spider-Man's lawyer in Spidey 3. I think Marvel Studios is going to soft-reboot the Netflix shows into the MCU, sort of like the last Hulk movie. We know the origin, the details are just sort of hazy.
I read about that myself somewhere too. Spidey 3 is definitely going to open up the floodgates to SO MANY marvel crossovers and cameos that will probably lead to extended plot setup. I'm excited for this upcoming phase (4) of the MCU/MCT. Loki is only 2 days away!!!!
