Steve Jobs, Bezos, Musk don't sit down and do engineering and research and development work. They own majority shares and make executive decisions. They get their wealth off the backs of actual engineers and scientists employed by them. They own the capital, they aren't responsible for the intellectual labor work for the vast majority of the products they sell.
