I am certain that there is widespread voting fraud.

"You'll never take back your team with weakness. If you don't fight like hell, you won't have a team left. We'll march down to the Toyota Center.......and I'll be there with you."

I can't believe most people here would rather see us hit rock bottom and lose lose lose for a draft pick. So do you root for them to lose every game for entertainment?

The Warriors did that last year and even with Thompson, Curry, Green, and their draft pick they are only 5 games ahead of us, and still in 8th place.

Thompson has been injured all season; anyway the difference is that the Warriors are/were Thompson healing/an acquisition away from being a deep playoffs contender again.

Curry even at age 32 is presently many magnitudes better than any player on our roster.

We meanwhile have a cracked piece of green Wood and a bunch of future draft concessions in our cupboard.

    Not the same situation.

That's rich coming from a poster that wanted us to get rid of harden even if it means if our team got shttier bc of it. I am 100% sure u r some of the posters that posted sht like: I rather we lose than watch harden iso dribble and shoot, I hate isoball, etc.

What's wrong wanting our team to become even shttier for a chance to get a superstar rookie? Your ideal team ball and beautiful ball movement where everyone tries isn't gonna win the ring especially with the current talent on this team.

What would their record be if Klay wasn’t injured? We’re gonna be doing a lot of losing regardless of if u want the team to tank or not. At this point, u are either rooting for them to be bad enough to get a top 4 pick, or rooting for them to be the 11th or 12th seed in the West. Why wouldn’t people rather have a shot at a top 4 pick than a shot at 11th in the West?

this is not a case of us being some 50+ win team, but we’re not gonna win the title, so people want us to blow it up...ironically, that is the stance many people had on here during the Harden era...they wanted us to trade Harden and blow it up because we kept losing in the 2nd round or WCF, or they hated watching ISO ball and wanted their precious ball movement back...now that Harden is gone and we suck horribly, a lot of them have gone ghost

We didn't win with Harden and Westbrook or Harden with Paul and Capela or Harden with Howard. I'd rather lose without Harden. Just never liked ISO hero ball. Only now is he not taking the most 3's in the league. Too bad he wasn't more like that then.

    Bad example.

    1. They fired their GM due to pressure from the league. The genius overseeing their rebuild wasn't allowed to see his vision through. Instead, they brought in Colangelo who quickly screwed up on a lot of things.
    2. Even despite that, they are still a contender to win it all and their star players are just 26 and 24 years old. They can be a contender for another 6-8 years.

With the amount of terrible teams in the East the chance of getting a top 4 pick are really small. And if we do not get it we get the Miami pick (if they pick up the wins again). Then we would get a terrible year and on top of that a terrible pick...

Agreed there are many examples of teams that failed at tanking but the 76ers are not one of them.

I'm still sitting on the fence.....
No matter how hard you tank, still a coin flip chance to land outside of top 4.
Even top 3 worst record still have 48% chance landing the 5th pick or worse.

Just last year, CLE 2nd worst record ended with 5th pick, ATL 4th worst record ended with 6th pick.
