Do you even watch games, other than the defense part, we played way slower with Paul, and Both Harden and Paul stood near at the half court line or in the corner when the other guy had the ball. If anything our pace went way up with Westbrook, but it got super sloppy. There was no imaginary motion/quick offense when Paul was here, it was heavily based on isolations, PnR and Drive and kicks. It worked because For 1 season Chris Paul was able to run the offense by himself while Harden was sitting.
Harden is at 50/40/90 as a Net. Also looks like his assist to turnover ratio is at a career high for him. And that midrange jumper he shot yesterday, without hesitation, was pretty sweet too.

We had a lot of pace in 1st season and that's what I meant. Of course we played ISO halfcourt, of course there was no motion offense in Adelman style, but we were a lot faster in decision making, running with fast breaks where there was a chance, taking first good shot etc. We were GREAT defensive team DESPITE JH and not because of him. It all started with CP calling out plays on defense, holding people accountable etc. It's his style and they played it everywhere he went. Second season was shistshow all-around and we played Harden ball then, I will agree. And that's where the pairing fractured - CP yelled at Harden to move, he refused too etc. And if 99% of nba fans think Brooklyn is Durants team and Harden will never get credit as 'the man' since he joined two superstars, and here we are on the Clutchfans with 10 guys thinking otherwise calling me names - who do you think is delusional? lol James Harden is solidified in basketball history as one of the greatest BETA ever.
