Atlanta would want a lot more, but that’s a no-brainer for us!

I don’t think the trades being posted are what the rockets are going for. They want picks along with short term bad contracts back or young players in cheap contracts (which really they have enough of those already)

I dint think they want average to above average players that are semi expensive contracts or will be looking for one in a season or two. They will be looking for that more in a season or two when the roster is set.

I take that back. The second trade is what I see the rockets doing or wanting to do.

This one still makes too much sense.

    https://tradenba.com/trades/afK1QZLtm

ORL: Victor Oladipo, Rodions Kurucs + 1M TE
    PHI: PJ Tucker, Ben McLemore
HOU: Aaron Gordon, Matisse Thybulle, Mo Bamba, Furkan Korkmaz + 76ers FRP + 4M TE

*Magic get best player in trade (2× All Star), young long player in Kurucs + save $
*76ers get vet glue guy starter that can defend 1-5, elite from corner 3 + another sniper for Morey
*Rockets save 4M, get longer, starter at 4, better iso defenders (AG, Thybulle), 6'7 playmaking 40% 3P sniper (Korkmaz), 7'0 backup 5 + FRP

    6'4 Wall/6'5 Porter/6'7 Korkmaz
    6'3 EGo/6'5 Sterling/6'5 Thybulle
    6'4 Tate/6'5 Nwaba/6'6 House
    6'8 AG/6'6 KJ
    6'10 Wood/7'0 Bamba/6'10 Boogie

*Option to move House or EGo at trade deadline for more assets.

Why would Orlando trade for oladipo KNOWING he won’t resign there, like 0% chance of him resigning

if we deal oladipo it has to be to someone that thinks they have a shot at resigning him

I agree, trade is a huge win-win for every team IMO.

Denver with Murray, Dipo, MPJ, Tucker, Jokic would be much improved vs. Lakers, Jazz, Clips - especially perimeter defense. All they give up is Bol Bol + FRP.

They also get off Harris contract. Dipo is upgrade over Barton + PJ is at least as good as JAM.

Milsap, Hampton, House, Nnaji off the bench for Nuggs.

Cavs dump Drummond for smaller moveable contracts while improving defense + team fit.

Dipo loves Florida, ORL was the team that drafted him. Dipo gets to be THE man with Magic instead of 3rd or 4th banana with Heat.

Magic would be willing to max Dipo, Heat not so sure. Still believe it comes down to money with Dipo, not winning.

Magic are also desperately trying to keep alive their playoff hopes so already discussions in dealing injured AG (due logjam at 4 position) + Bamba, who never plays and will not get paid in ORL.

Would be willing to add SRP or even Pistons not likely to ever be conveyed FRP if absolutely necessary.

Don't think the Rockets would touch Drummond if they didn't want to touch Allen.

Drummond with a buyout is okay with me. Trade Boogie for a late SRP. Griffin is useless.

I keep telling people. Oladipo looks terrible and he is a rental at that.

Now if he was MJ or Harden as a rental......maybe you get something.

    But let them dream.

he is an expiring, so there is that. At this point you hope someone needs the cap space. We take back a bad contract in return for a pick.

That could have worked if Oladipo had never gotten injured in his entire career. He isn't worth a SRP at this time unless he regains strength and quickness/ stamina soon. The likelihood of that happening is zero imo. @ApacheWarrior

Raptors want Drummond, but need help getting him. Let’s help.

    https://tradenba.com/trades/3TwyWqr8V

We get Nance and Powell instead of picks. Cleveland gets FRP and expirings. Toronto gets their man.

We should be the one getting that FRP from Toronto. Otherwise, good trade.

    I like.

But Rockets should get that FRP too.

    Stone is cuckoo for FRP.
