@bmelo are you saying your savior steph could have gifted the rockets with a chip while your EX harden could have held gsw back from multiple chips?
Harden already the Nets 20 plus points triple double franchise leader after 15 games. This is a franchise with mr triple double king Jkidd. But I guess kidds triple doubles were 10-14-16 types. Impressive nonetheless. 29 points 14 assists 13 boards on 10-18 shooting 6-8 3pt line.
James Harden is already tied for second on the Brooklyn Nets all time list for triple doubles with 5.....................Jason Kidd is first with 61
Defense is starting to come around. The big 3 are happy and gelling. Harden has been masterful. Kyrie has been blazing in his new role coming off the ball. 1.5 games out of first with the injury exception and MLE to play with still. Scary Hours.
Funny thing is harden also broke another record as a Rockets player when he became the first player in nba history to score over 40 and get 15 assists in a season debut. So he has two records for two franchises in one season
They are creating the Thunder reunion . The Nets just signed Andre Roberson. Harden Durant Green Roberson
actually it wasnt and some teams put a good fight and its only due to incredible luck and refs help that warriors won.. as soon as the luck left them not even the refs were able to help
I thought this was a good read: https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...ference-to-kyrie-irving-is-making-nets-click/ There are some interesting stats in there showing how Harden has in fact changed how he plays (how often he shoots after extended dribbling, how many dribbles/seconds per touch), which might explain why his style of play is now more palatable to viewers who aren't specifically fans of his team.
Hmmm, disagree. Read the article, basically said he’s scoring less and passing more while having ones second less on his dribble package. He’s less the league in assists in Houston so it’s not like he’s never showcased this passing before. The personnel is different in Brooklyn so he’s taking less shots and passing more, that’s it. Rockets fans always knew that he could do this. They are relatively seeing the same player(well his scoring honestly hasn’t been what it usually is and that’s probably with playing with Irving). Their have been a lot of times he’s looked way to passive this season. The real reason he’s not getting backlash is because he’s in NY and he’s drawing like way less fouls per game.
I think this article is nonsense. Harden has more talent, so he is a bit more efficient and selective. Everything else is identical to Houston Harden.
Yeah he wrote that article using a premise he had already made up in his head and he did not support that premise with data those dribble numbers are virtually the same.
The Jazz did not run the John Stockton system. What Stockton did was run a system. The Jazz system was not designed for him. It just ran a lot better with him. I will forever be a critic of systems that are designed around one player. Unless the player is LeBron James and the league and luck are involved, those systems will always fail. Those players get all the glory and none of the blame. It is hard for them - and their fans - to see the error in their ways. Especially when they accumulate crazy assist and scoring numbers and MVP awards.
