No! We are building a good team. Kind of like the kyrie Irving situation. Let him stay in the Vipers . This kid will be a stud! Rockets on full tank mode
He can start at SG, and lead the 2nd unit now... but you don't give the franchise to a 20 year old much less a 20 year old with "demons." Even a player like Luka is having trouble carrying a franchise. These young "stars" need to be surrounding by damn good vets, who can show them how to win. I think Wall, PJ, and Gordon fit that category and the rest should be specialist role players. If you can surround Wood and KPJ with solid, proven winning vets, a key role players, then you start to build something so that when Wood is 28 and KPJ is 23 you are trying to compete for a chip.
Wood, KPJ and KMart are the reasons why Stone did an excellent job this season and why the Rox future looks bright. All those swaps and picks are just gravy. Sky is the limit for KPJ provided he matures and gets his head on straight.
KPJ with a 3/4 FG start, already drew a charge isnt that what silas wanted to see more of the rockets? Bring him up!
Just type rgv vipers vs lakeland magic in youtube. There’s a stream online. It has weird zoom in, probably to avoid copyright issues but it does the job
Porter attempting those lob passes is a good sign for Wood. On target also. Unfortunately the recipient isn't as talented as Wood.
He’s very good. He’s the best prospect this team has had in recent memory. Honestly no one is coming to mind after Yao. Perfect storm to acquire him. I do think gifting Cleveland Jarret Allen was a catalyst for them choosing the Rockets to send him.
It's obvious g-league defenses are really hedging towards KPJ anytime he touches ball. He's drawing a lot of attention. Good thing KPJ is seeing his teammates really well. He isn't going to attract as much attention when he gets back to the NBA as he's not established yet so he'll have more space to operate with also.
If not, we package his ass... flexibility baby!! Or he could be our next Eric Gordon! Every championship winning team needs a badass 6th man - like Harden. This is sarcasm.
A couple of messy possessions by Porter at the end of the half but it's all good. He's going to have to add some muscle mass for his next evolution in terms of playing ability. Because that seems like is current main weakness in terms of on court ability. Good news is he's 20 and NBA players usually gain a lot of muscle mass between 20-25.
Porter has always been a lottery talent coming out of highschool. His issue is that he's super immature and hangs out with the wrong crowd. Hopefully he figures out that he has a choice of living a life of luxury for the rest of his life, or trying to make ends meet by keeping it real. It's his choice.
