In this weather, perfect for cold smoking. Have a side of salmon and couple blocks of habanero jack on now. No need for pans of ice to cool the smoke, as needed when it's barely freezing, much less a smoldering 40f.

    Vegan pesto mac n cheese.

If anyone is willing to try it I'll give a recipe. It's bomb.

I was down a MLW rabbit hole. Then found cooking segments by La Parka and his two sons. Was not something I was prepared to have in my life. :D

    Pork and Chorizo.

    Thanksgiving on a grill.

Some of the stuff I've been throwing together the past few days is just ridiculous... Spam (fresh from the can), Americanized cheese, and homestyle tortilla -- no power required.

Great find. :D I can't tell what aspects are best but the music is up there, like a 1970's elevator soundtrack.

Now that I’m on day 3 with no power, I’m dipping my toe into cannibalism.

I've become a master at making my own pizzas from scratch (including pizza dough). Last night, I made my specialty BBQ pizzas with grilled chicken, bacon, red onion, and red bell pepper.

Anyone ever cooked shrimp and grits? I have a jones for shrimp and grits. It's been years and I've lost the New Orleans cookbook with the recipe I like - I've got the grits down, but the sauce piquant is the key. Found a couple of recipes online but was curious (and felt like bumping this thread).
