I’d like to see that continue, via increased pay, more 2-way contracts and incentivizing young high upside prospects to skip college.

I don’t think you have to build out something as big as the baseball system for it to be very effective. More talent = better product = bigger audience/more investment = more money = more talent.

There is no reason the G League can’t be the 2nd best professional basketball league in the world.

I would say it's probably the second most talented league at the moment. The problem is the quality of plays isn't going to be as good as top Euro leagues because the players on g-league teams aren't looking to build team chemistry. They are looking to get their NBA contract so you won't see machine like team ball you could see in the top Euro leagues. Many of top Euro league players are content with playing their entire careers in Europe so there is dedication to the actual team rather than seeing it as just a temporary stepping stone into the NBA.

Women can play ball all they want. But the money used to subsidize the WNBA would be better spent on this. Just my opinion.

Yeah totally agree, and to add on to this, it's not just the players who aren't trying to win. A lot of g-league teams don't have winning as their #1 priority either. Similar to tanking teams in the NBA, a lot of these teams are trying different strategies/lineups (as guinea pigs for their respective NBA teams), or favor player development over actually winning games.

    And he looked very good.

Glad Vipers were able to sign him.

Porter needs to play for Rockets asap.

His passing is already best or 2nd best right now.

We all know that he can throw lobs better than any vet on Rockets already.

Even Spalding is not going to be as effective without Porter setting him up.

I would say Wall would still be our best playmaker just because he has so much more experience reading NBA defenses but the future is that Wood/KPJ pick and roll game. KPJ's main advantage over Wall in terms of playmaking his height and length. He just can see the lob threat better.

He would be an upgrade over McLemore just on his defensive effort alone. Having watched both in college it’s clear Brooks has an innate defensive skill set and intensity that McClemore lacks. Both are streak 3 point shooters who can light it up on the offensive end.

Both 6'3 but Brooks has higher IQ, especially on defense.

BT just might arguably be Vipers 2nd best player.
