    Pull your windshield wipers up off the windshield.
    This is not just so they don’t freeze up, but so you don’t rip them when they do freeze up, and you force them free.

    that’s a sure way to damage wipers.

    It got down to 63 in the outage and has to get back to 68. My 68 is pretty warm imo.

    My neighbor said his hot water line froze to his kitchen. I’m assuming he didn’t drip the hot and cold but who knows?

    My wife is spending the day driving around in my 4wd (she grew up in N. Indiana) ferrying old people to warm houses.

    Sometimes it sucks being the only responsible adults in two families.

    I have no skin in the game, im in FL. I have bigger problems. The AC isn't working and its 83 outside. Everyone in the office is going home early.

    Did you run any hot water lines? Most likely if not the hot water line from your hot water heater froze up

    That’s probably it. Hot water works fine to the rest of the house, just out on the one sink.
