Clippers trade Blake Griffin to Pistons for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley and picks

I think injuries have just caused a premature declined. He used to be pretty good, but it's clear his athleticism is not close to what it once was.

They picked up a first for Blake Griffin along with Tobias Harris, and then picked up another by trading Harris. Then they picked up a third by absorbing Mo Harkless. That's how trading 5 first round picks to turn that into Paul George (duct taped to Kawhi Leonard) isn't hard.

 

SMH... and we can't even get a 1st round pick from the Pistons for DMo.

 

Well the prerequisite is find somebody who will trade you a better, cheaper and younger player and picks for your player.

i remember thinking how lame this was since he jumped over the shortest part of the car. every nba dunker could do that. almost as lame as dwert's superman dunk where he didn't even reach the rim and had to throw it in while being about 3-5 inches short.

Blake Griffin has looked ridiculously washed...I give him credit for improving his jumper so much tho over the years

 

give me a below the rim player with high iq over a high flyer with explosive athletic ability anyday. These athletic guys are like running qbs in the NFL. they have the wow factor but all have a short shelf life. Having fundamentals and being able to think the game has never mattered more than in the modern nba

prime example of what happens when u rely on athleticism and it leaves u

 

I don’t think Blake signs with a contender after buyout he joins a team like us probably looking to get playing time and revive his career. Bc all the vets on our team are exactly that.

but a team that could revive his career and get him a chip is the lakers. So I could definitely see that as well.

 

He gots that stand up career waiting.

Given how he has improved his outside shot he could still help a team coming off the bench. He has also probably been loafing it a bit just to force this action and has a little more in the tank than hes letting on.
