Enjoying HBOmax but absolutely hate their interface. Is it just me being an old coot or is it jacked up?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but first this was going to be a movie, then it was going to be like 4 hour-long episodes, and now it's back to being a movie? Sounds like Warner has no idea what they're doing.

This will easily be the most expensive movie of all time. When people in the future look back on it, they will be dumbfounded that people were clamoring for a proven bad director to come back and re-edit and re-shoot parts of a bad movie. It won't work.

I would have liked to see Darkseid come to life on the big screen. Looks like he has a cameo. But with DC at its current state, it is unlikely; probably not in my lifetime. A bit sad that Thanos is now a household name, but Darkseid isn't. Considering Darkseid came first in the comics, and Thanos' design borrowed heavily from him.

Marvel has hijacked (or beat) every idea DC has had when it comes to the movies. At every turn, Feige has cut DC off at the knees because of their incompetence. He is still doing it too. I mean the savagery on display by Feige is supervillainous. All the movies in the pipeline at Marvel are going to make DC look like they are copying them.

The Eternals is about to beat DC's New Gods to screen. DC wanted to do an Amazons movie but Marvel already has a Dora Milaje Show in the works, etc, lol

DC just needs to be patient and do one movie at a time. They shouldn't treat it as a race when everyone wants to give both Marvel and DC money.

These new movies Shazaam, Batman, Black Adam, etc, they need to treat with care and move slowly

DC needs to get them a real nerd like Feige who knows the material and just do whatever she/he says.

You're an old coot, because every platform is going to be different. A young coot would tell us which platform.

Well I sure as **** don't watch TV on my phone like some young ass whippersnapper; I use a dedicated PC interface.

Now get off my lawn before I unleash the hounds.

Maybe it's just me but this shot doesn't look epic as it should. Red eyes, better lighting, and a solo shot that makes him look more imposing.

He looks like he's about to lose it. Darkseid don't play that.

DC has done TV better than Marvel. The Arrowverse, Gotham, and Supergirl. Titans and Doom Patrol are getting the notice they should from HBO Max. Those 2 are GREAT.

I watched an excellent film from 1982 again, The Escape Artist, on HBO/Max, starring Griffin O’Neal and Raul Julia. While largely ignored (I may have been one of the few who saw it at the time) when it came out, it shouldn’t have been. Griffin, a teenager when this was made, is more famous for being Ryan O’Neal’s son and Tatum’s brother, and for being a member of a crazy addictive family, but that’s another story. I won’t attempt to describe the flick, which I enjoyed a hell of a lot. All I’ll do is suggest that if you like quirky independent films with excellent acting and a highly unusual plot, you will get off to this.

DC animated movies also eclipses anything Marvel animated has done (recently); Avengers EMH was the last great thing Marvel was doing with cartoons.

DC got the animated Harley Quinn series on HBO Max that is GREAT and hey just rebooted their Movies again with Superman: Man of Tomorrow and Batman: Soul of the Dragon.

DC always kills it with the animated (tv) stuff.

@RKREBORN going to say I have a hard on for DC now?

Lol. It doesn't matter, it was only a matter of time before RKREBORN jumped in with dc bias.

As far as movies, marvel>dc. That's an absolute fact.
