With all due respect to Springer, Harden, Hopkins and the viral list of Houston players gone the last 1-2 years, and while not from here, Watt was (Mr.) Houston. Damn did you embrace this city like your own. Always took time for the fans. Always gave back. I’m gonna miss him but happy for him. Go get a ring. If anyone “deserves” it, you do! As a Bills fan I am hoping we can convince him to come to Buffalo. Diggs has already tweeted at him and the thought of a defensive line of Hughes, Watt and former Cougar Oliver coupled with the offense they have built could be Super Bowl bound.
Injuries suck, dude was on his way to being an inner circle all time great, had arguably the greatest 4 year run in NFL history. Probably the most popular Houston athlete ever at his peak. I look forward to seeing how the Texans manage to f**k up his ring of honor ceremony.
