Wow. That video shown in the Senate was surreal and painful.

 

The fact that republican senators will vote to acquit regardless is not excuse for this lawyer's performance...

Yeah, every American should watch this. If we have eventually any education system, the day will be part of American history. So raw and strange to have lived through that day.

Those will make good and obvious photos for the history books: Senators refusing to grapple with what happened on January 6. So be it. Let's move on then, and just cross our fingers that it never happens again because... T&P I guess.

 

If there was anything close to a legitimate defense for trump, a lawyer would have made it. There isn't though... so this is what the American people get.

This so much this. Republicans just don’t care. I thought after Sandy Hook we might get some gun control or reform but instead you get nutballs who deny the whole thing even happened. Kids who are angry after being in a school shooting are called crisis actors.

Republicans like guns therefore it doesn’t matter how many children die. Republicans like Trump so it doesn’t matter how many police officers died or how much property was destroyed or anything.

Maybe it’s a new mental disorder where you completely lack the ability to see hypocrisy.
