Well, when you have 3 of your main offensive players out, the game is usually a scrappy, ugly one.

 

I hope he can stay healthy and be back with us in this role. I mean hopefully he returns to closer to allstar form but if not I'd take this as a backup center plan for years to come on a cheap deal. Then we spend more money on other areas of the team.

 

I swear I hate when people act like 25 is young. Like you said, people want to treat it like a video game where they build around 20 year olds and 19 year olds. 25 is YOUNG, and plenty of basketball ahead of 'em.

 

Just stagger the minutes. Dipo can run point with the second team.. and may go off playing against the bench

 

Hayward is not that fast but he is going around Nwaba like he is stuck in mud. Have to put Tate or someone else on him in the second half.

Well your physical prime usually ends at like 26, so realistically the one thing Tate could really REALLY improve on his jumper. His growth should be aiming to be better than Prime Tucker. When Tate's contract ends....its 28. And he'll be wanting to get paid big.....this is why I advocated for getting Mason Jones more minutes. Need to have something for Tate to be here for.

 

But...but... Harden gone. We go from hated to forgotten.

 

Tucker is a liability with Wood not playing. We need more offensive weapons when we lost our 20 ppg scorer. Tucker should start with Wood but with our current situation he shouldn’t start. We need more offense. We can’t win in spite of his one bucket games now

 

And 3 years till his big contract at 28 which he will undoubtedly ask for. If we want Tate to be really of use to the Rockets instead of just farming him for other teams, we need someone on here to prove he's "the guy." Maybe Mason Jones could be that guy but we'll never know right now cause dude isnt getting minutes.
