https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/02/05/why-teradata-shares-are-soaring-today/ Does anyone follow Teradata? Was up 65% today. It was on my watchlist because I know my company uses them (this is how I first got exposed to NET, SNOW, CRM etc.), but ignored it cos they were considered a legacy company using a licensing model - looks like they are on the SaaS bandwagon now. The revenue growth doesn't look impressive though.
I'm sure some of that movement is because of the shorts leaving it after they announced those better-than-expected earnings. When I heard the name had popped, I was like "wow, haven't heard that name in a while". lol. Maybe I need to re-visit. BofA put a $55 price target on them while CFRA went from buy to hold but upped their price target from the $20's to $40.
WPRT ... *boing*.. up 50% in the afterhours at the moment. And this would do it ... Exclusive: Amazon orders more than 1,000 natgas engines for U.S. truck fleet
Anyone legally ‘investing’ in the outcome of the super bowl? If so, where, how much and who you got? I know nothing about this so any tips are welcome Budget is $500
I wouldn’t bet against the chiefs. And that includes a QB that is taking his 10th trip there. If Brady was 10 years younger or if the Chiefs were a little less ridiculous I would consider it.

Definitely not a conviction play for me, just a small bet in my high risk/reward basket of space rockets and penny stocks with 4x more debt than their market cap lol.
Are you selling pre earnings, before the lockup expiration or holding? I'm trying to decide, been in since $11
now that WSB / RH craziness has subsided, a vanilla stock like MS is worth a look MS has always done well in wealth mgmt products, its recent acquisition of TD Ameritrade adds more depth / reach to its financial products the yield curve is getting wider in a Fed-induced zero interest rate environment, real inflation is on the rise. technically, MS is set up for a nice pop soon, after an ok ER in mid-Jan, X-Div on 1-28, price dipped from 77 to 66 it then bounced off the 50 dma, and just rose above 20 dma MACD is nearing the cross-over, RSI is only 59 i expect MS to reach its previous high of ~77 sold a 5-pt bullish PUT spread, 75/72, and collected $2.05 premium in advance, defining my max risk to be $2.95 by Mar 26, should MS trade above 75, i get to keep all the premium.
FYI, do you mean its acquisition of ETrade? TDAmeritrade and Charles Schwab merged. A lot of people have been high on the MS bandwagon among the banks for the past month or two.
This is like the second time they've done this to me ... make your minds. Maybe Apple just told them to keep quiet. lol. : Hyundai, Kia shares tumble after automakers say they’re not in talks with Apple to develop a car
Shares of Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) shot up 10.9% in premarket trading Monday, after the big-data software company announced a partnership with International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) on open artificial intelligence applications for business. Tesla (TSLA) revealed the purchase in a regulatory filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday, which helped to drive up bitcoin prices to around $44,203, a gain of over 13% in early trade on CoinDesk.
Took profitz on a bunch of stuff today (not SDGR tho!), looking to reallocate. Any bargain-ish stuff avail today?
