Sacrifice team success to pad Oladipo's stats. Trade him at the deadline to the highest bidder, and move forward after that. We're in 2020 OKC mode: maximize all the values of our current assets, understanding that none of them are likely going to be a part of the next championship window we're shooting for in 3-5 years.
You got to be a real game changer and a big deal. He must destroy tanks! Now he is still in the 'role player big deal' category.
Oladipo was obviously horrible, but why were the Spurs getting every call down the stretch. It felt like a time machine back to 2015 when Derozan would just get bailed out with any and every foul call in the clutch.
I think hes calling out clutchfans, we reacted negatively and sent negative vibes back to universe so that caused the loss
3 of them were T's. it was a joke. i literally saw Pop and their entire team run onto the court during LIVE play to complain about the non-24 sec call they later corrected. fix the call sure but should have been a T. no calls and poor FT shooting cost us this game without Wood. proud of the team for not b****ing out despite the outside factors.
refs were absolutely ridiculous. i mean 3 technical FTs.. that being said, we got out coached. our defensive assignments and rotations were sloppy all night and it had seemed like pop used our earlier matchups to exploit weaknesses tonight. still impressive we kept battling back all night and with Wood i think we nick this one.
Regardless of fouls, if you can't score 115-125 consistently in this league you're not going to win a lot of games. The top 15 teams in the league average 113/game or more. Final scores of games routinely are in the 120-130 range. Far too often we end quarters with under 20 points scored (esp the first quarter), and getting under 25 in a quarter should be viewed as a failure.
Rockets can’t win in Toyota Center. We need a new arena. Can we build one at The Summit’s old site? What is there now? The refs have made the Toyota Center a place where the home team comes to get sh_tty officiating. It’s tainted!
We had this game. Except Derozan took over cause nobody can guard him and we have no real center right now. If the just got it out of his hands we may have had a chance.
That one guy in the gray sweater just took two shots to the face and did nothing. He was very calm, dude. That guy in the white deserves a crippling ass beating for just swinging at everybody.
