Don’t compare records. You know well enough the Rockets went through the whole Harden BS and they are better than their record indicates. The Spurs are also without LMA. This is a very winnable game.

Rockets would have won this game with Nwaba on the floor instead of Tucker, period. Stop defending Tucker. Don’t act like he’s not a part of the problem. The man is shooting below 25% for the past 7 games and can’t rebound. His over the back fouls are starting to really annoy me. He plays hard but he has no business starting full time.

He went off when Tucker was on the floor in crunch time as well.

Sorry, but I think the Spurs without Aldridge are better than the Rockets without Wood. I would favor the Spurs under the circumstances. The Spurs are extremely well coached, they are always prepared and play hard.

For example when/if we trade tucker for a draft pick posters will be clamoring for the next “trash” rocket to be traded...

fwiw Oladipo played like trash tonight and that is the primary reason we lost other than wood being out.

Look at this crap. It reeks of ungratefulness, sleaziness and a lack of appreciation. Just straight trash. You dude's who liked this post never deserved a PJ Tucker to begin. Bled him dry, under paid and now that he's no used to you lol. Its like this.

People like this should never ever complain about people asking for a trade or leaving the Rockets. Because "its just business":rolleyes::rolleyes:

they do, but the Spurs are without LMA

if both teams are at full strength, the Spurs are better, and even without LMA, they are still better than this Rockets team without Wood

This is 100% correct. We’ve played the Spurs 3 times in 3 weeks I can’t believe Silas hasn’t recognised that.

The tip is what led to the fast break, though.

A secured rebound would have led to a half court set.

thats just happenstance though. He didn’t plan for that sequence of events. He was just trying not to lose the board battle.

it was a very strange tweet.

He has value but it doesn't make much sense on this team, plus with Tate and Nwaba. His value will only go down from here so I'd like us to move him by the deadline, for his sake as well.

He is who he is, a nice defensive playing role player. He is not capable of upping his game to another level when others are hurt, he is still the same - no stats all star.

It would be better to have a contributor there, someone who plays both ends and is a threat to score or move off the ball. IMHO, he is a luxury we can't afford, and should be traded to a contender for future considerations or a young big.

I agree on that too. I mean yes he is a great garbage man but I think there are many players a better starter than him. I just hope they dont resign him with a big money next year

PJ provides zero-point energy and intangibles to the Rockets.

so he has winning plays while playing a full game really not helping us win?!? ridiculous take by this reporter.

i like PJ, great dude but he should be a 7th or 8th man who could also play in crunch time. a leader, a specialist. what's wrong with that PJ? He wants different kinda money then sorry you gonna have to get that elsewhere.

    I agree.

in fact I’ve always hated the “no stats all stars”. Well hated is a strong word. I actually loved the hustle and play fo Shane or Chick Hayes or PJ.

but I hate the idea of those types of players are so great. They’re basically the absolute best filler you can get in a salary cap league where you have to pick and choose where you spend money.

pretty much everyone would rather have a better player... if you could.

Unpopular opinion but I’ve always thought Battier was overrated. Battier for Gay was a terrible trade. Good help defender but his one-on-one defense was not as good as advertised. But he was really reliable from the three point line.
