Baylor and Gonzaga are in a class above everyone else. I personally believe Gonzaga is better....... too bad the Gonzaga and Baylor was cancelled early this year. Baylor has some tough games coming up so lets see what happens. I think UT is in the next group with Villanova and UH and Ohio State.... someone from this group has a shot to make a Final 4
Switching gears, what do you guys think of the NBA prospects currently on the 40 acres? Kai Jones was a sleeper pick of mine as a guy in the mold of the Rocket's own Christian Wood. I thought he might be available at the back of the first but now some sites are pumping him up as a lottery pick. What do you guys think? And what about Greg Brown? 1 and done as expected? Has he done enough to prove to you guys that he can play the 3 or is he strictly a 4? Where do yall think he gets picked? Is he a Rocket target? Lots of questions but its been a while since the rockets were players in the draft and there is a lot of talent on this year's Horns squad. Hook'em!!!
The Horns pumped the brakes for me, but maybe they're on the rise again. We were a different team early in the year. We're looking a little more solid against OU tonight. I hope the score holds. I love beating Oklahoma at everything. Put two people in Texas and OU gear and pit them against each other ...I don't care if they're playing Uno or Paper/Rock/Scissors... I'm all in with most of my heart and soul. OU SUCKS!!
Really didn’t think Shaka would make it. when you’re wrong you’re wrong. Whether covid or just having guys that are seniors. Probably the second. I think Brown should definitely stay another year. Kai should too but might declare. Cade Cunningham ... i mean there’s almost always that something. And that something wi th him is he just constantly seems to be in slow motion. That’s how Luka plays though. Just seems like in college he can slowly get any shot he wants at any time. And he has an uncanny ability to just make shots. I wish he had along with that obvious Westbrook type athleticism but I guess if that was the case it would definitely I felt be a tankathon for a clear future HOFer.
The run OKState was on was on pretty insane. Texas was their 8th straight top-20 opponent. They were 6-1 in the first 7, with 4 of the wins against top 10 teams at the time.
Agreed. Shaka rides with his guys and we saw that pay off tonight with Coleman, Sims and Jones playing so well. This team can be so Jekyll and Hayden that I would be happy with a Sweet 16 appearance. I have no confidence for anything beyond that. Greg Brown is, by far, the rawest and most underdeveloped of the lottery-worthy big men that have passed through Texas in recent years. Even Jaxson Hayes was more consistent than him. Brown would really benefit from an extra year at UT, but I will never begrudge a guy the chance at making millions of dollars in the NBA. Hook ‘Em, baby.
I think Greg has one last chance to get himself right before the draft with the tourney. We’ll need him at some point. Time to get focused Greg!
3 upperclass guards and 3 NBA bigs and Shaka can't figure out how to teach/coach a half-court offense. 2nd verse, just like the first.
UT sucks lmao. Compete choke job being unprepared from the players to the coach coming into this game.
You get the douche bag boosters to throw a dump truck of money at Chris Beard. Or something else, I'm not sure what Plan B is.
