he should play more PNR or pouring tons of 3s which gonna stack up piles of beautiful statistics n staying away from injury bugs...that's a much safer way to 2021 ALL STAR :D

    Is this from ESPN stats?

    Verify all sources please.

And you like Thad Young as much as I covet AG and Larry Nance.

    I can respect that. :D

It was a graphic from a Fox Sports Indiana broadcast and was accurate at the time. His career scoring average has dropped to 13.1 since then. It was funny, but also shows how cherry picking stats can put you in elite company.

Thad Young is 32 but he's having a good year.

    James Johnson as well.

The difference is that, ESPN stats were using this comparison to determine All Star worthy bigs.

So all the players are same era, same season.

    No cherry picking.

How can you consider yourself a superstar when your own coach ices you out of games?

"Superstar" in everyday talk usually means a franchise player you build your team around. Am I right?

It’s really not that complicated. Superstardom has to do with consistency, i.e. putting up those numbers for multiple seasons, while also improving your game each offseason. Wood hasn’t played enough to do that, so he’s not one. But, if he put up those numbers and improved as an all around player each season THEN he’d be a superstar.

Right now he is a guy with superstar potential, who is playing at an all-star level this year.

These Numbers are useless without context. Pure numbers dont tell anything. Its about impact, about efficency, workload and usage...

So keep it Short- yes he puts very good numbers on the sheet, very efficient and hes a super modern Big. Mobile , versatile, good hands, can create for himself and has range. But ...hes not a superstar. He is on a good path but the jokic , AD or Giannis have More impact. They have a second elite skill... AD and Giannis are insane on defensive End, Jokic is one of the best passing big men of all time . There „Gravity“ is on another Level .
i love That Wood is on our roster- esp with this Contract -but for me there are only a few Superstars in the league. Bron, Khawi, Jokic, Harden, Steph...and for example gobert is not a superstar.

He is best scorer on our team. He played 8 games with average of 25 points. Shat his pants vs AD, the only competition he had. Pump your brakes lol

the logic of this forum makes sense, kinda hard to crown someone a superstar if they played so little, not consistent yet and is still young. So do we just compromise and say Wood has the potential of a superstar, yet the players around him aren't good enough/aren't able to make him shine as bright as harden is able to do?
