I did say it depends on one's definition of superstar, didn't I? If you want to define a "superstar" big as 20+ ppg, 10++ rpg, and 55% FG%, that's your choice. That's not statistical criteria I would use.
Its almost dinner time this is getting ridiculous. Is it day to day week to week month to month career ending whatever it is the fans deserve to know! I have worried myself sick gotten no sleep food has become tasteless and bodily functions have turned soft and limp in all the wrong ways this is distressing!
It's Wood's first year with a set role, let alone star role. Hopefully, he'll improve his passing but it's not like he's terrible at it. Embiid has been a star for years and only has one season with a positive assist to turnover ratio. Wood compares most historically with Amare, who averaged 1.5 assists in his prime but with a lot more turnovers. Amare was also too skinny to post up down low and bully most centers, but I'm guessing you probably thought he was a star back in the day.
No, I'll ask other Rockets fans. I want to see how out of touch your position or my position might be with other people on this board.
Exactly. Seeing apollo and others dumping on Wood only a month or so into his first year as a featured player is amusing.
This board is not the authority and you know it. What stats were traditionally used to determine big's greatness, those metric have not changed much - you listed it out of self preservation in your 2nd post in your BS thread. You are hiding behind a poll because you are a coward.
if 20+ ppg, 10++ rpg, and 55% FG% isn't consider a superstar for a big man, what the hell is your definition of one then?
Well Damn...sheesh...why don’t you two take this outside! I’m trying to catch up on some CWood injury news.

You have to admit the five guys doing it are pretty freaking good, though. Please don't be like Shaq and say a star big man needs to average 28/14, despite never actually hitting that mark himself.
