Jones and BMac post cryptic messages after Memphis game

He knows he’s on a short leash that’s why. Also whenever he gets into the game they freeze him out of the offense. He’s often wide open and never gets passed the ball. I think they should send him down to the G League so he can at least develop some more.

 

You should watch the Wall post game interview, there is some interesting explanation there why Jones does not look for his shot anymore.

 

Maybe Stone is pushing Mason to sign a rookie contract before given him playing time.

Mason Jones is not treated fairly right now. He played really well when everyone else was sitting out due to injury and he has earned some playing time.

The most frustrating thing is that playing well didn't equal in minutes for him, that's why he has been bad lately.

But with him being bad lately, he has no leg to stand on in terms of deserving PT.

Unfortunate situation.

Also, they really don't like passing him the ball when he's open.

Jones will never get consistent playing time as long as Dantoni is the coach. He won’t play the young guys..

The team needs another PG badly, since we traded Harden the offense has looked horrendous when Wall's not on the floor. If they don't think Jones is good enough then they need to let him go. FWIW, I think he's looked good in what time he's gotten.

McLemore is just too much of a defensive liability, something this group can't afford.

His contract. Most teams aren't going to want to commit to paying a 32 year old, oft-injured guard with a lot of miles 16-20 million for the next 4 seasons (contract goes through 2024).

 

Same but if you want to play, whining on insta is not how you get to play. Improve your defense and learn how to run the team and you probably get to play. also, it's not a good luck when your team gets a big road win and this is what's on your mind...

 

Without Wall on the floor we are LOST. EG can't run a team and neither can Dipo. We need a big and a secondary floor general badly.
