Mahomes and Watson are not comparable. That’s like saying Watson and Trubisky are comparable, because they were in same draft. Give Mitch the teams Watson had and he would be as good as Watson.
It’s just not true. Watson might get there, but he’s not there yet.

And Super Bowls will be the distinguishing factor moving forward. When you have dudes like Stafford, Rivers and others like that putting up all time numbers but don’t win, they’re not getting in. Watson will have to at minimum make it to a couple Super Bowls to even have a chance to get in.

When times got tough (Losing season) Watson wants to cut and run.

What this is really all about is money, Watson knows he can make more money in NY,Mia in endorsements, plus his GF wants to startup her modeling career. What better place to live if you want to be a model than NY? Also Watson wants to play for a minority HC, which is kind of racist. IMHO

This certainly isn't about winning football games. Why would anybody want to go to NY if it was about that.

Right, they aren’t good as is and the requisite package needed will further delay any growth.
    Same with Denver

Wait? So you want him to stay and honor his contract?

Players do have the option to move at their prerogative and teams don’t have to trade them either.

I’m pretty sure Caserio would have no issues trading the massive Cooks or Mercilus contracts if someone would actually offer a decent pick. Vs “honoring” contracts.

Now imagine the stats if there was a competent coach and GM to work with!

They’re honestly probably worse counting numbers, because the games would be closer. Run game would be stronger. He was forced to throw and was very good and efficient. He’s not going to be much more efficient than that, that’s not a knock on him. That’s just about as efficient as you can get in this league.

No personally I hope he never plays another down of football for the Texans again and if he chooses to holdout I hope Cal says fine and holds his feet to the fire by getting back some of his signing bonus in addition to lost salary.

But hey, we know this will never happen, he's gone.

    [Lesson from a Master Negotiator]

The Texans have to find a way to make Watson sweat (loss of $$ is the best way). This is needed to get him to play ball with his no-trade clause. To the Texans' credit, they are making the necessary moves for right now, given the circumstances, by completely opposing a trade. Unless they take that stance, Watson will continue to diminish the Texans' potential return in a trade by refusing to exercise the no-trade clause unless they Texans trade him to who he wants... Which in turn, causes the desired destination team to offer less for Watson, since they now have leverage. What the Texans are doing is setting up a "you waive the no-trade clause and we agree to trade you" compromise.

I don't know DW4 personally BUT he needs to learn how to say what he REALLY FEEL!!

THIS **** ALL STARTED WHEN DW4 ENDORSED BILL O'BRIEN AFTER THE KC LOST!

Until DW4 learn to simply say how he really feels, EVERYBODY is going to say this about Deshaun, that about Deshaun or whatever.

I love him as a player but he needs to STOP the tweeting, stop agreeing with this player from Denver, NYJ, Miami, etc., etc......

We even heard he had a relationship with Culley.....BRA, LEARN TO SPEAK YOUR MIND

What a bunch of vague nonsense from Carr. He speaks as if he knows what Deshaun's issues are but doesn't elaborate at all or give any specifics on what he saw during his time there. The only specifics he gives for Deshaun's situations were the trades of Duane Brown and Deandre Hopkins, the people for which are responsible are no longer on the team. Then he says they have some work to do to fix the issues. What remaining issues? Don't make statements in an interview if you don't have any actual information to back them up. Feels like Carr is just trying to make himself look a little better for failing as a QB during his time with the Texans. It ain't like he lit it up for anyone else once he was cut from Houston.

Time will tell. It will be fun to keep up with as each situation evolves wherever Watson lands.

    No way!

If Watson throws OBrien under the bus he would have been crucified. Look how he doesnt get any veteran/star leeway now! Players supporting lame duck coaches is nothing new.

He's looking out for the Watson brand and nothing he has done is out of bounds for professional players - he hasnt gone Full Harden YET, but maybe he will have to just to get away from this laughingstock franchise who will never amount to much as long as the McNairs own the team.

    Why waste your career here?

Lol at the release numbers, the only way Deshaun gets released is if he beats up his girlfriend like Chad Wheeler
