Wow (no pun intended), if all these were in the dantoni era?

Wonder how many of the gamea PJ or EG played in. Thats a nice fun fact.

We got hot, 5 from boogie 4 from wall and 4 from house will be tough to repeat... lets enjoy this outlier moment, i doubt we can hit another 20+ 3fg game the rest of the way.

This is what the Mavs were supposed to be playing, good job indeed, while the Mavs couldn't get it done so far.

Carlisle about to phone Silas about that.

Sorry but 17, 14, 11, 6. It's hard to have more streaks because you run out of games in the season. Most of the losses came up front when missing multiple players or at end of season when they sat players. At one point in that season, the Rockets were like 42-0 when all of the starters played. You could literally look back at ALL of the games they lost and say Capela, Harden, or CP3 were missing. The Rockets were unbeatable. This is a nice, feel-good streak that should stretch to 7.

This is a 40 win team WHEN HEALTHY and something we are going to have to live with if we max out Dipo. There are consequences to being the Yaoless Rockets. We traded Harden for Dipo. This is no real surprise against bad teams. No Harden to hang on so everybody plays hard ALL the time. Team flows better. Need to get more minutes for the young guys. Dipo, Tucker, Gordon, Exum need go if we are going to be the best team we can be and maximize assets and the value was never higher than now. We are set at G. If you settle on keeping this team we are ALWAYS going to be short that other dominant star 3&D guy that we need up front to compete with the top tier teams. Who is that guy and how do you get him? I'm not talking RoCo either...or Beal. If you are going to do it you need to know and set it up now for when it will happen in the future either through some potential trade map or a way to work cap with THIS owner. It seems foolish to think that Wall, Cousins, Gordon, Tucker are future cornerstones that will be healthy and contribute 4 years down the road. Your young assets that are worthwhile NEED to be aligned with other young assets. This team's production right now is driven by those 4 players AT THE EXPENSE of your young talent you will need right away to develop. Tate, Wood, Jones, Nwaba, House, and even Porter need to be the focus and 5 minutes each for 4 of them won't cut it. Some will be permanent rotation and some could be something more. You need as many shots as possible at accumulating and developing young talent that matches. We were one of the oldest teams before the trade, guess what we are now. If you are competing for chip no one questions it.

Can we put to rest all the requests to start Boogie and move Wood to the 4?

Exactly, if this was Allen he could play with Wood on the floor at the same time but you literally cannot play Boogie and Wood together. Boogie's effectiveness now is that second unit spreading the floor with 3s and doing his dirty work in the paint and rebounding. He lacks the athleticism for the D required from his position.

Crazily enough, Boogie is even worse on O than he is on D.

Not being to finish anything at the rim has him super one dimensional.

    And when he's off from 3 ....

Exactly, positive asset, trade him now or tell me his next 3 years are going to be worth it with a young team.

Really disappointed we didn't drop 192 as I predicted after the 1st. Is it time to let Silas go? Perhaps Michael JORDON can coach this team to the finals?

I don't hate EG. I love EG and Tucker and wish they could have retired as Rockets. Our team needs to get younger to align for the future and rid us of a bad contract. When we had Harden and the other older players chasing chips they made sense. Now they make us a treadmill team.

I don't know man they are playing fine as of now, EG will net as **** in return I'd rather keep him. It's hard to score and develop player like EG even with top15 pick im not so keen on draft picks because I saw a lot of busts over the years

It's not the pick, it's that he is a $16M a year cap hit for 4 years and before we started playing he was a negative asset because of it. Right now I think he has played into a positive asset. We need to clear the decks and get young like Boston did to have as much ammo as possible to trade and maneuver and hit FA in 2022. If you saw what the assets could be I think you would think differently. EGo is good now. What he will be at the end of the season, next year. You don't want that hanging around for 4 years. Wall has to stick around at least until trade deadline next year. You don't want older, injury prone players on long term deals.
