Stock market - bubble, going to burst, not based on fundamentals, relies on fed

Bitcoin - not bubble, not going to burst, based on fundamentals(?), not reliant on fed?

I'm all for crypto and own some, but it's just another speculative asset that tends to go up over time and has its own set of risks. With btc environment and terrorist funding are real concerns with iran emerging as a major miner with fuel to burn. Beware the flippening :)

No point banging on about Bitcoin at this point. All the Zoomers are using Venmo. They know the ease of using virtual wallets. No splitting up cash piles to pay the bill for lunch or the ol 'i got you this round'.
The kids are getting a real education now. They are sitting in class with their phones playing on their mommy and daddys Robinhood accounts make thousands of dollars, learning how the system is stacked against them.
They will have no problem using the lightening network or trading doge coin. Trading stocks on DeFi will be great for them. They will be able to trade 24-7 and know exactly who bears the stock. No more getting shut out after 4PM while the crooks trade for the next 17 hours. And they will laugh at the boomers for being stupid dinosaurs.

Terrorist is always state sponsored at some level. If its the Middle East, its derived from oil. And what currency do you think oil is traded in?

When you see these big piles of money confiscated from criminals, its not Criminal Dollars. Its USD.

Here is a brief article about global supply of cash.
    https://www.aier.org/article/how-much-cash-is-used-by-criminals-and-tax-cheats/

Bottom line. Bitcoin can't be hidden.

    1. who is your broker - IBKR
    2. Do you plan to change broker, if so why? - nope...I’m perfectly happy with them
    3. Do you trust your broker to get you the best available price when you place a market order? - not much of an issue since I usually buy big liquid companies like MSFT, AAPL, GOOGL, etc.
    4. What do you like most about your broker. - they also have a lot of educational tools and low margin costs for the occasional times I use it.

This is pretty much me as well. Ibkr gives me half of what they earn from loaning my shares to shorts. The apps could be better, but tolerable.

It's a response to sanctions limiting ability to sell oil for dollars - burn oil to mine btc. I'm bullish on btc in the short term, but I'm weighing the risks too. Maybe eth and pos is the answer.

For sure. But they will attempt to fill the gap. Unfortunately you can't put money into Webull.

I think the big winner in all this is reddit. Too bad u can't invest directly in them. I think tencent only holds 5%. If a forum can move stock prices in the billions, surely an ad on the platform is worth a lot. Twtr may be undervalued too.

Yeah i almost pulled the trigger on Twitter after they banned Trump. Around that time I heard how much people use twitter in a few other countries, i was too slow though.

Was looking at discord too; seems like the only listed major share holder is also tencent.

Since you've entered this thread I encourage you to consider diversification and other ways to profit off asset inflation as well :). I'm quite confident that many regulars here have earned more from stocks over the last year than they would have buying vanilla btc.

I don't feel confident/informed enough to trade. I only buy and hold.

I've been dollar cost averaging bitcoin since 2013 and my ROI is 1800%, never sold any

I know adoo answered this and I agree with him 100%, but are you on RH currently? I'd only skip the normal transfer here if you have major positions in a slower gains/plays - That are long holds like if I had day trading spots/contracts I'd finish those and as stuff is cashed out *if this is RH Just use their stupid debit card and take the cash as you close spots or withdraw to bank account.

Before you do that though, have your new brokerage ready/direct deposit ready. And then get that one going. Transfers are great if you don't care about selling soon, but with everything going on I'd rather have the most control.

seems like there is fear of widespread asset liquidation this week to cover these shorts

I predict the subreddit will get shut down if this goes on much longer. They will use the usual "hate speech" excuse, same thing Discord claimed to shut them down.

Shutting down the coordination mechanisms is the easiest way to weaken the wsb threat.

    1. who is your broker - moving to fidelity, I have been using webull for awhile and still have RH access. But just combining all to fidelity and w/ a little in webull. I was mainly trying to keep my other investments separate on fidelity but not liking the crazines that happened elsewhere - webull while pulling amc/GME temporarily was handled in a much better way and even detailed why it wasn't clearing those atm, I think it was fixed same day. Iirc
    2. Do you plan to change broker, if so why?well trading on fidelity now is the plan
    3. Do you trust your broker to get you the best available price when you place a market order? Webull is a step up from trashy RH but I'm looking forward to hopefully get better executions w/ fidelity. I know anyone using RH should set a limit - their execution of stocks is awful and market is only worth using in a bad position. If you can't get limit in fast enough.
    4. What do you like most about your broker? 3am-7pm trading on webull.
