What next ? I think you wait for the deadline and see where you are , if you are in the top 5 , maybe make a move if the right player comes available and doesn't cost you too much. I think you play it pretty conservatively , at least for this season unless you are getting someone you are convinced moves the proverbial needle. You may have a lot of assets but you don't want to throw them away / waste them.
This team is very, very close......Aaron Gordon and Gerald Green would put it over the TOP!! Get'er done Stone
I say we keep Wall & Oladipo I would like to see this be the roster post deadline/next season Wall/Jones Oladipo/KMJ ?/Porter Jr Tate/? Wood/Cousins Trade Gordon/House/PJ for assets and rebounding basically I like our starters and want to compete until we start filling out the roster through the draft over the years but we need to clear the vets on the bench for playtime for the young guys
People are acting like if we want we can keep Oladipo. It is not entirely up to the Rockets, he is a FA after this year. The real question is are we willing to pay him the max or close to it for the 4-5 year deal he will want. If the answer is no, you have to trade him now, especially since he should garner at least one good FRP or two mediocre ones.
This would be your chance to get Aaron Gordon. You Throw your package of Tucker,Gordon,Exum and 1st for Aaron Gordon. https://tradenba.com/trades/-Ymetheop
We would get outbid very quickly. Maybe we could trade Oladipo straight up for him or add a pick, but I doubt it. Aaron Gordan is coveted, Eric Gordan is not.
I’m sure Vic knows the situation and his agent is working with stone to get the best deal for both if he wants to leave if Wall/Oladip/Wood enjoy playing together cool. Trade every vet on the bench for assets to make room for the rookies. By the time the rookies are ready to start and take over the team, we will have traded Wall & Vic or their contracts will start to expire and the Brooklyn picks will probably start to really come pay off as well
