Only trade I’m interested in is trading Cal McNair for a bag of flaming dog crap.

The whole “big market” thing is overrated. Mahomes is the face of the NFL right now and he plays in a smaller market. Even when Giants won 2 Super Bowls in 4 years Eli Manning was no where near as popular as Brady or Peyton Manning.

If you are winning and charismatic you will do fine with celebrity/ endorsements regardless of where you play.

Nope. The best team in Texans history (2011) had a good but not great QB. But they had depth everywhere and were able to win even with injuries to Mario Williams and Andre Johnson. Hell they won without Schaub and Leinart and went toe to toe with the ravens with a 3rd string qb.

The point is you have to have quality players at every position...even a great QB can’t overcome a lack of talent at the other positions.

I would rather see them make a trade before the draft. If they wait till after the draft, I am afraid they won’t receive as good of a return.

4 FRPs is the starting point. Then I want some additional draft capital or some Pro Bowlers. I don't think this is salvageable at this point. Just hoping Caserio plays it smart like Rafeal Stone and holds until he can get the absolute best package.

I agree there, but a team like the Jets that doesn’t have as much appeal or is a second class citizen in their own state would be willing to pay more for that star type player.

ok. Then you don’t trade him. And you tell him “hey we tried but no one is offering very much. Get your agents to get what we want. Otherwise suit up.”

Sweet, Watson is now worth 5 first rounders + some good players.

I would say they should get at least three firsts and a pro bowler.

Knowing the Texans, they'll settle for a first and a third. Or, just the picks we traded to Miami for Tunsil.

Effectively, making it deshaun watson, a first, and a second for Laremy Tunsil.

Three is way too low. I think they should get 10 first round picks.

like I said earlier in this thread.
You ask for 4 firsts and 4 seconds.
You tell DWs agents to fetch it or have him suit up.

the DW get media to **** on the Texans campaign has really done one on some of you guys.

remember when the board thought Rafael Stone would suck because DM was a “god” of a GM or something?

here’s a concept... maybe Casiero is an actual competent GM???

    we shall see...

Were they the ones that spun the hopkins trade or the Tunsil trade?

    Different GM, but still.

Not but still. But this ****ing exactly. Bill O’Brien ran this franchise into the ground.

the same Bill O’Brien that DW backed instead of going to management 2 years ago and saying this ain’t the guy. No he wanted his contract extension first.

DW made his bed but doesn’t want to sleep in it.
