I hope some of those four years that Silas got are non-guaranteed. Looks like the worst coach in the league right now
Lol..again I am not one of those who badly wants him out. I just made this thread on behalf of those who do hahaha. Personally, I'd give him 10 more games to see where we're at.
lol we need to have 9 wins already and the roster must work and gel like the 97 Bulls................................
Apparently he’s been preparing for this for most of his life yet he doesn’t look ready. His body language is already piss poor for a few games to start. If the head coach looks defeated how do you expect the players to respect you? The defeatist attitude brings the energy and morale of the team down because you are suppose to be the leader of the team. And I wasn’t expecting a win tonight but I was expecting some improvement but the Rockets continue to look worse. Game after game are the same mistakes, the same trash offense and defense. It’s unacceptable.
Silas' record is similar to Kevin McHale's when he first landed at the Rockets. (3-7 in first 10 games, no real camp due to lockout) Big difference being that McHale had Kyle Lowry and Luis Scola as his best two players and not much the **** else.
To early. This poor man has to tip toe around right now "walk on egg shells" whatever term you want to use as not to upset our star player who in the first matchup with the lakers finished with 20 and a +/- of minus 11 then he tops that with 16 and a +/- of minus 23 tonight. Yes the team as a whole needs a ton but if everyone is having to play nice with James this whole season might be a S-Show! I know it won't happen but with Miami interested in both James and Beal why don't we three-way that business. Key pieces: James to MIA Beal to Houston WAS gets Herro 1FRP from both Houston and Miami and whatever the fillers are to make it all work. Man it is rough watching this team right now. It is clear James needs to go but we are trapped cause his value is down. James should feel insulted people are saying Beal, McCollum, Herro have more value than him. He needs to start ball'in out to let everyone know what's up. Please lock this post if you want as this is more of a trade thought. But again I will reiterate, to early gotta give Silas at minimum 25-40 games before you decide anything.
Too early to give up on Silas, especially given the crappy hand he’s been dealt. This team does need to figure out the Harden situation though, because it’s pretty unfair for a new coach to try to build a system around someone who might not even be around a month from now.
Um, he's ready. Its just he's trying to change the culture in a organization where the former GM had no accountability for his players. Also lingering contract issues, star player quitting etc..
Silas can stick stick around for the rebuild, you think Tilman will fire him when he just signed a new contract? ROFL. You think too highly of Cheapman Fertatas
