If Luka leaves Dallas, why would he come here? If Booker leaves Phoenix...why would he come here? By all means though if you can pull this off, of course you do it. But I'm just not seeing the how part.

A Rockets fan retweets another Rockets fan's thoughts about another team with absolutely nothing to do with the Rockets, and this ends up in the GARM? Phoenix is doing pretty well right now, even though they're 9-8. They were 8-0 in the bubble last year and 8-5 before a 3 game skid this year (so far). Dallas is on a 4 game losing streak. Those 4 games came against the Rockets (lol), the Nuggets and the Jazz (2). Nuggets and Jazz are top-tier teams right now, so it shouldn't be the end of the world, losing to those teams. This thread is even more random than random trade ideas...and that's saying something.
Imagine a Suns or Mavs forum starting a thread called "Christian Wood, we're watching you" after the Rockets go on a 3 game losing streak or something, and that's how ridiculous this thread is. Slow Saturday, people are bored.
Don't know about Booker but Luka ain't coming here. Rocket fan from day one. Dallas resident for the past 25 years. Cuban has all the money in the world to throw at him. Dallas doesn't offer him what he desires. He wants to be the face of the NBA. He's a bit of a diva, getting worse as he establishes his place in the league. The clowns of Hollywood and Madison Ave will come calling. He wants the bright lights of LA or NY. As important to him as being a basketball superstar, his camp wants him to be a celebrity. He's got LBJ written all over him. As a player, if he just balls, he is a joy to watch. But too many other things distract from his greatness. I hated CP always whining and complaing about each and every referee call. Luka is worse. Luka losses interest at some point either in a win or lose. Might just be a Euro trait. Like Jordan he expects perfection from his teammates. Luka will play out his present contract, then bail for the big city lights.
Luka’s one thing. Booker .... I mean he’s great. But he’s not Luka or Harden great. He’s just a slight tier below. do I want him? Sure. Is he better than Oladipo. yes. Definitely factoring in age. But Dipo is the better defender and we’re seeing you can also win with defense. I think the bigger overall comment is perhaps the Rockets have set themselves up well for the future.
