Also should be noted and taken lightly or with a grain of salt but could still be something.

But the Texans met with Mac Jones at senior bowl.

And he kind of intrigues me as well.

Trade 2nd pick possibly for more picks draft defense player then Jones possibly or vice versa.

Yeah, he does have the hurky jerky movements like Manziel in open field. But his movements and throws on the run, along with arm talent is Mahomes-esque

Let’s not forget some of the draft capital we can also receive for

    Watt
    B-Mac

    As well

I’m not too interested in Mac, I just think in today’s game you have to be able to move. I could be wrong though.

Yeah I can see manziel a little in his game but with a good head on his shoulders.

I’m all about Wilson. He’s got the Manziel factor with his ability to extend plays. And he has very similar arm talent to Mahomes. The video about Wilson posted on the first page of this thread shows that he clearly can make all the big boy throws needed for the NFL and he made some absolutely ridiculous ones look incredibly easy this past season at BYU.

Personally, I’m really really hesitant about Fields.

B-Mac is gonna be a tough sell. $30M left on his deal coming off IR. And honestly wasn’t playing all that well before. Watt’s value should be interesting.

Same, I’d rather Lance and Wilson over Fields

A really interesting factor that could come into play.

Fields and Watson share the same agent. If Watson is indeed traded, I don’t think it’s far fetched to say that Fields could refuse to play in Houston. There’s no way his agent would come off of the Watson situation and not warn Fields about Cal and Jack and how they ran Watson out of town.

Yeah I think Watts value will be dependent on the team he goes to

The feeling may be mutual - the Texans may not want to deal with Fields, given his agent.

Quite honestly, I could see Fields busting, similar to pretty much all Ohio State QBs in recent history... Troy Smith, Cardale Jones, Terrelle Pryor, JT Barrett, Dwayne Haskins...

I like Wilson over Fields but Lance is huge boom or bust for me.

Yeah I think so too, I just think Lance has better arm talent in terms of ball placement than Fields.
I’m honestly worried Fields is a poor mans Lamar or Cam. Exciting to watch but can’t really beat you with arm.

I’m just not big on Fields, I would rather Mac than Fields. And I don’t want Mac at all

Fields’ throwing motion worries me a little as well. Seems that he has a little hitch that causes it to take just a little bit longer to get the ball out. Whereas Wilson’s throwing motion is extremely fluid and quick.

Mac Jones worries me because his production has come with an absolutely insane collection of talent. Minimal athleticism as well.

Lance is the ultimate boom or bust guy. Not sure I would take him in the top 10.

Wonder if Caserio would see some Tom Brady in Mac. Smart, accurate, good presence in the pocket, etc...Not saying he is obviously but there are some similar attributes there. If we were to get either the Jets or Dolphins two 1st round picks, only way I'm good with Mac is if we traded back a little bit for Ja'Marr Chase or Devonte Smith and then picked up Mac later in the 1st or 2nd. But I'd much rather get Wilson and then a pass rusher like Joseph Ossai with the latter pick.

Yeah, it gives us options at minimum.
I would definitely prefer Wilson, but I could see Mac becoming solid too.

I'd take Wilson over all the quarterbacks not named Trevor Lawrence. Fields just doesn't excite me.

And it has nothing to do with the school he went to. Although, that might be a factor with the church the McNairs are running.
