2021 NFL Draft Thread

    Welp a lot of contingencies here but guess it's that time regardless. Obviously what happens with DW4 changes everything but currently:

    Current Drafts Picks:
    #67 in 3rd Round
    #100 and #112 in 4th Round
    #131 in 5th Round
    #164, #178, #188 in 6th Round
    #195 in 7th round

    Current Draft Needs:
    RB, DE, LB, CB, and S

    IF DW4 is traded and we are looking primarily at the Jets/Dolphins as trade partners, will likely be looking at Justin Fields and Zach Wilson. Just for kicks, that'd likely be the starting point IMO.

    No real combine, no real visits, no high picks (yet), several players missing a lot of games this past season. I just can't get into it right now.

    Wilson is the pick. If Lawrence is out, Wilson is the only one there that has legit superstar potential.

    Trade the Jets 2nd overall, Texans own first, one of the Jets 1st and another 2nd and move up to the no. 1 spot and draft .... Christian Barmore/ DT. Christian is such a nice name for culture purposes.

    So would I. One other scenario is taking Tua as part of the deal and taking Ja'Marr Chase or moving back and getting Devonte Smith. Use rest of the picks on defense.

    Wilson has me intrigued but as far as QB classes go, this seems to be a decent year to be in the market.

    I'm also good with Wilson. Having a lot of picks PLUS a QB on a rookie-scale contract is key to speeding up our turnaround.

    Just look at the potential QB class for 2022 and you’ll feel much better about this year’s class.

    Landry Locker on 610 has started referring to him as Mormon Mahomes and now I can’t think of him as anything else:D

    I know it’s just wishful thinking, but when I watch that dude that’s all I can see. So similar in body movements. Probably a little faster than Mahomes, more similar to Deshaun in wiggle.
    He has potential, but you know how that goes.

    I would want him to sit a year maybe even 2...especially if we acquire darnold.

    Funny he used to be called the Mormon Manziel with his scrambling ability but kid has a cannon. Some of his throws this past season were ridiculous.
