I think they need to look at Philly First
Bucks - Philly and I am still high on Boston and the Heat

I think the road to the finals is not a cake walk

I think they handle the Bucks in 6. That Phili series will be a battle and a fun one to watch. Who guards Joel? But then who guards the big 3? That series could average 130 a game lol.

Man I dont even care about the Nets, I care about Harden. I hate checking their dumb sub reddit too sometimes. BUT......nothing would be sweeter than seeing Kyrie destroy Alex Caruso.....it would be so nice.

Same. I dont bother reading their reddit or realgm fourms. NY fans are the worst as is their media. But being a Harden fan means pulling for the Nets ( Rockets not contending of course ) I will say the chick and dude who do the YES games are pretty amazing.

Of Course. It’s like being with the hottest chick in high school. Who knows what’s going to happen but at least for now it’s new and fresh. Maybe after a couple seasons not winning there might be a problem but hey they’re just hanging out hooking up and having fun.

Last year the Rockets Montra was: We will have at least one MVP on the court at all times

The Nets said . . HOLD MY BEER: We will have AN MVP and A NBA CHAMPION on the court at all times!!
Sometimes we will have TWO MVPs and TWO NBA CHAMPIONS

Not sure who watched tonight, but the Harden and Kyrie Irving combo without Durant looked REALLY good. There were no points in the game where it looked like they were in each others way or trying to find their way together. Stark contrast to how he looked on the floor with Westbrook and Wall.

Kyrie being an ELITE shooter and ball handler makes a huge difference. As a backcourt, offensively they looked perfect together. Harden just kind of stood away from the play and took his man with him when he was off the ball as usual lol. You know what though? Kyrie did the same thing and it worked to perfection. When he was off the ball, he was able to spot up and shoot off of Harden penetration or catch it and attack the close out and Harden did the same thing. One would attack and collapse the defense and either score or pass it back out and the other would repeat the process.

I guess this is what scary hours looks like. They were efficiently torturing the Thunder.

I’m envious that we only got to see what that was like here for one year. The first year with CP3 when he didn’t look washed.

Harden only needs to play with someone that can take advantage of the space. CP3 wasn't ideal either. Kyrie is ideal because he can abuse players one on one. Durant doesn't even need the space. Having them with Harris on the floor causes all kinds of issues for defenses. You literally can't double anyone and 3 of them can abuse single coverages and all are good to elite passers.

By the end of the season, this will be the best offense we have ever seen in the nba.

Yeah, I didn’t want to disrespect what CP3 did his first year here by pointing that out. CP3 was awesome running the 2nd unit with Harden off the floor. Remember 48 minutes of hall of fame PG play was what Morey sold us on, but what Harden and Kyrie did tonight when they shared the floor together was something different for sure. CP3 is or I should say was a better overall player no doubt, but Kyrie is an all time great scorer at the PG position and I’m not even really a fan of his.

I think Cp3 was a more appropriate back court mage for Harden because he was a better playmaker and defender. Like Cp3 could iso too and he could make plays out of them. I know that's maybe what this isnt about. But I just wanted to chime in there. But I think you are also right in that Kyrie is also ideal because he can get into his jump shot faster than Cp3 and take advantage of the space. Offensively I would say Kyrie is more of a natural fit with Harden but overall I would still give it to Cp3.

CP3 definitely was a better all around player. He could do everything you needed from that position. Kyrie offensively is just a completely different animal. Come to think of it, he’s like a younger pre knee injury CP3 with even more creativity when finishing around the basket. Paul evolved into more mid range pull-ups and 3 pointers and killed you that way. Kyrie still a threat on all 3 levels.

OMG let it go brother. It's ok people are wrong sometimes. If I wanted to get you I could've pointed out how you actually created a strawman by distorting what I originally said by assuming certain things but at this point you're embarrasing yourself just let it go man lol

Haha. Not many people remember pre injury Cp3 with NO. You remember pre knee injury Cp3.....damn man. He was like.....John Wall fast but actually knew what he was doing LOL. It was crazy. He would go to the basket like crazy. Agree about the Kyrie comparison for sure, only thing that differs would probably be that Cp3 in that regard was still more of playmaker than Kyrie.

Nothing you said was distorted and in fact it was directly addressed... I just wanted to see you own it and not deflect... so that'll do. ;)

You want to see me own the fact that you're assuming things and you're making a jackass out of yourself and I'm wasting my time replying to you then yes I own that fact. Next time you shouldnt butt into other people's discussions trying to sound smart you just end up looking stupid.
