No it doesn't matter because that's not what I was arguing about.

Yup. It's a one way street of appreciation. They get their millions from our dedication to following and embracing him and couldn't give two ***** about us when they do bullshit like this.

So? Am I supposed to impressed by athletes doing charity? Almost every athlete with a decent salary does it. It's part of their pr.

How is this relevant to him ditching this city?

Want to bet $100 since you're so confident he wont?

Lol what have you done for the city of Houston? Zero. Just been a pain in the arse for everyone here.

    $40mil per year? Right. Irrelevant.

He hasn't so far after weeks of making Texan fans go mad with anxiety. He hasn't addresed the city once and just does cryptic tweets.

Dude are you his agent or family member or something?

Are you even from Houston? Or are you like a Clemson alumn?

    I can't like this enough.

Texans PR has handled this situation poorly and the big media and his agent has run away with it. Now, a team that was a strong playoff team a year before is now the 'Worst franchise ever'.

No one in the media was saying this at the start of the season or at the midpoint of the season. In fact, many were saying "This would be a great job to have!" and now it's already "This franchise is the worst run franchise in the NFL!"

Meanwhile, no one thinks it's odd that Watson wants say on the GM? That is crazy, he should have nothing to do with who the GM is, he's a f'n QB, does he like it when the waterboy tells him where he should pass the ball? My guess is no.

I can't believe so many people are like "Yup, player should decide who the GM is, yep, obviously, that's what happens."

You really need an economics 101 class, Bernie.

Between your housing price increase and this.

It's call supply and demand, his skillset is obviously in high demand, unlike whatever you are doing. He obviously gets paid much more than you but you are b****ing about him being good enough to play football.

Demand is the consumer you dumb ****, not the employee. We are literally the demand. Jesus such high confidence for such shitty takes. Without fans there is no revenue stream. Without any revenue stream, athletes don't get paid. Simple.

Yeah. The owners of the NFL make millions of dollars a year, due to their product that YOU the consumer pay for and watch.

I don't see you complaining about the Texans making $530m in revenue but paying $240m in player expenses per year.

    Just obsessed with DW4.

And I've corrected myself already lol

But hey, look at that, CLEARLY the Texans are one of the worst run franchises in the NFL and a complete dumpster fire based on that record alone.

    Alright.

I'm going to pony up this in Venmo for whoever wants to watch the cash. Apology for Houston fans before the year is out.

fans act way too entitled like they have the right to control these athlete’s lives

they want 100% loyalty, but will switch up so quick the minute the player does something they don’t like

now we’re in the phase where we try to sympathize with the garbage organization for creating this terrible situation

apparently, if u make the playoffs, u are a contender, so Watson has now played for 2 contending teams in 4 years here...

that’s the logic being used now
