So far on RH it's $AAL, $AMC, $BB, $BBY, $CTRM, $EXPR, $GME, $KOSS, $NAKD, $NOK, $SNDL, $TR, and $TRVG that are blocked. I wonder how much longer the list will grow.
That's all I can figure. It's a poorly kept secret that Robinhood exists so big boys can make money off the little guys making money. But it's pretty damn impressive how serious this has gotten that they are willing to nuke something as large as RH.
Its bullshit. I haven't been fond of this nonsense with WSB pumping stocks but the last week or so I have come to understand what is trying to be accomplished. I decided to help the cause and reopen my Robinhood acct yesterday and buy some shares of NOK. I placed a buy order last night and decided to cancel it around 8:00 this morning. Around 10:00am, they filled the order anyways. It wasn't a large position by any means and I fully understood it to be a ponzi scheme. But to pick and choose which orders to fill at their desired time is criminal.
Robinhood has really fked themselves. They are going to spit in the face of the users that made them who they are.
Yea I am also wondering the same. My wife and I have retirement money in the stock market. If we pull out, I'd like to put the money towards real estate for rental homes. I am pretty pro real estate since I am pretty handy so I will be able to fix most things myself and save on labor costs. But my wife hates that idea since doing repairs and maintenance is still time away from family. Are there other good options?
I honestly blame RH - the list they're creating of blocked stocks is probably impacting a lot of other positions. This is such bs, I hope it jumps back up quickly.
In my 140 person Zoom University class. The prof just asked in a poll at what age do you want to retire. Someone in the chat said next week I’m in the GME gang lol. I can’t get away from it even in a Grad class.
@Dr of Dunk about to get the market crash he's been waiting for. I am expecting a mass sell off from RH...and that will take down even the good stocks with it.
I mean it’s just going to happen again what are they gonna block every shorted stock people buy into dow making significant gains . They rigged the money game for themselves again in the end
