His defense isnt the best though. I wish we had another big and htey start together. maybe sit Cousins down early then bring him back in with pj when wood sits.

 

has a great feel for when to attack the rim in transition and when to pass the ball.. and my god when he goes after that basket theres noone stopping it

still didnt liked dipo even in his first game when he scored with ease and had great connection with wood in last 3 quarters...still looked like he completely shut down our entire team flow and teamball with dominating the ball and possesions

 

just need to be locked up in the gym shooting 3s 24/7

Yeah, I don't blame you. When a little one is involved, you get a pass for buying gear. Honestly, I probably wouldn't mind the blue as much if they didn't wear it so much. Like once a month or something, not every other game.

 

@D-rock will you pls explain to mr woods why this isnt a great idea?

Mix & match however it needs to be, I know only Wall, Dipo, and Gordon will be bringing the ball up, but my body is ready. Wood feels healthy and is practicing, let's go!!!

 

boogie playing well gives the rockets so much more defensive versatility to go big or small, and not have to completely lean in on 1 style.

this team is still trying to figure out what works, so it should be fun to see how effective a wood/cousins frontcourt could be.

If Boogie is willing to play stretch 4 on offense, this could actually work for short periods.

Boogie is no longer a threat to finish at the rim and is becoming more efficient from 3. Which complements Wood's game.

On defense, Boogie can be the post defender while Wood helps weakside.

But that requires Rockets to abandon switch everything (which has been main factor for Rockets elite defensive resurgence) in favor of a zone or drop coverage.

yes!...but just to make sure he doesn't regress.. he needs to be automatic...
if he ups the 3 to 40% he might be a championship caliber player...I hope lucas make sure he throws up 1000 shots today so theres no way he wont be a good shooter
